Such a lovely lady who squeezed an appointment in for my daughter at short notice and, rather than make unnecessary adjustments, explained why and how her dress fitted her perfectly already. Didn’t charge us for her time and was so amenable and helpful. Would 100% recommend.

Did a perfect job off my favourite jacket, couldn't even tell it had been torn and the zip works better than before. Super speedy and a lovely lady. 10/10 recommend.

Christine fitted me in with in the hour, she litrally altered my trousers there and then, while I waited It took her no longer than 10mins. I would highly recommend sew-wot to anyone wanting alterations.

The extremely helpful, pleasant and creative, Christine did a superb 'fix' on an overgarmet which required adjustment after many years of use, I was impressed with the quality of the finish and equally with the the cost... Thank you Christine and best wishes for the future.

I took a fleece needing a new zip to Christine this morning. She adjusted the zip already in the fleece, and told me I didn't actually need a new one. This saved me the cost of alteration. She charged nothing for the adjustment, and also gave me advice on another subject. Lovely lady and I will definitely go back when I need anything altering.

I’d like to kick this review off by saying what a really lovely lady Christine is, and who came highly recommended. I never like to leave bad reviews but what’s happened has caused me a lot of stress in the lead up to my wedding day (which is already a stressful time) and I wouldn’t want others to end up in the same position as me.Unfortunately Christine did a very poor/bizarre job with my wedding dress alterations which I didn’t realise to be as such until I’d sought a second opinion from a bridal seamstress a few days afterwards because my gut told me something wasn’t right.I did tell Christine I was happy with the work she had done because at the time I was trusting of her work. It was only after reflecting on the work done and seeking the second opinion that I came to learn that it hadn’t been done correctly.She took it upon herself to complete all of the alterations within the same day, which meant that corners were cut unnecessarily. And again, I was trusting enough of her expertise not to question this.The second seamstress is having to unpick everything and start completely from scratch with not long to go before my wedding day.I’m sure (as her other 5* reviews suggest) that Christine is an excellent seamstress for general clothing etc, but unfortunately I would not recommend her for bridal-wear.

Amazing service from Christine, I took my bridesmaid dress on the day very last minute for the straps to be adjusted and had it back 10 minutes later, really appreciate being squeezed in and will definitely be going back if I need alterations again and will certainly be recommending to friends.
