Amazing wee place, found them on Instagram and was recommended by a friend, needed some burr slices for a project and found exactly that in the shop! Fantastic value for money and they have some really stunning pieces of wood, would recommend you take a visit for personal projects or business needs

The amount of wood is fair, but the amount of rubbish tipped off the trailer is horrendous . All little pieces of wood, smaller than kindling filled three huge shopping bags and a whole wheelbarrow and sawdust one third of brown bin. I have not ordered that. Happy to share the photos.

Scottish Woods was quite simply, the best place I've ever been in my life. I bought a beautiful plank of sycamore way too long that it was never going to fit in my car. The absolutely amazing owner/staff went out of her way, in the pouring rain to find me a piece of string to tie my boot lid down.I will post pictures of my computer desk once finished. Then I'll be back to get more wood for project shoe rack!

One of the nicest atmospheres of any business I've ever been in. Came in as my wife was looking to see what they offer and we ended up staying for over half an hour looking at all the different qualities and varieties of wood they offer. The person serving us was an absolute delight and asked my wife some questions about her purchased and gave her some amazing hints and tips. We purchased 6/7 pieces of wood from the sale section for just over £11. Fantastic value for money, would recommend anybody thinking about purchasing for personal use or for business purposes to check these guys out

If you want decent chunks of wood for making things then this is the place for you. They have all sorts of wood from Ash to Yew. Beautiful grains and colours. I bought some large pieces for wood turning. A really great place.
