The Cheese Shop

I bought some camembert and onion chutney with my girlfriend for date night and it was amazing!! Some of the best cheese I have ever had and would definitely recommend the onion chutney too. We had it in burgers as well as with the cheese which was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

The cheese shop supplied a cheese cake for our wedding - which was incredible. With 6 cheeses, Jonathan helped us pick the cheeses and plan the cheese tower. The cake looked great and received amazing feedback from our guests.

Eating and drinking only UK produce in June and this cheese shop has just made the month so much tastier. Service and knowledge are terrific. Check out The Mayfield" super gold winner at the world cheese awards making it one of the best 50 cheeses in the world and it really is next level."

Jonathan and the team did a wedding cake for my wedding and was not disappointed at all. He was happy to meet my requirements based on some of his suggestions and the cake itself tasted amazing. He was able to provide crackers and chutneys as well and our guests were very satisfied. Will certainly be returning to the cheese shop in the future!

We ordered our Cheese Wedding Cake from here and it was wonderful. Jonathan was great at choosing cheeses that we liked and all the guests commented on how lovely it was. The shop is also wonderful. Jonathan provided two small wooden mice for the top of the cheese which was a really lovely touch.

Had some of their cheese selections a while back at one of their market stalls and it was absolutely delightful... Their shop along St Johns Rd has a great selection and variety of cheeses to choose from and it's a hit with the local community...

I've visited many times living locally. Today, I popped in for 100g Brighton Blue as a pick me up after a long morning. So fresh and delicious, and tasty. Looking at the stock I could've taken 100g of each cheese! Such a brilliant place with amazing local cheeses.

What a fabulous shop. Attention to detail is amazing, Jonathan is really knowledgeable about his produce and can source anything, but is a huge advocate for local... if you need cheese this the place to go. Plus he has other delights... I would highly recommend (for large parties or even just a little treat for yourself).

I went to a wine tasting, hosted by a friend, who had bought cheeses for the event from here. I went to the shop three-ish weeks later (having loved the cheeses - albeit under the affluence of incohol) . I bought three, Brighton Blue - which was as good as I remember the lovely Limeswold (!) ; an amazing Sussex brie (I usually dodge brie ; and a lovely chedder. My family ate most of the B Blue before I got to try it...TBF, it's not cheap but the quality of the cheeses, IMHO, is way beyond what you'd find even in a county fair. I couldn't recommend this shop more highly, and when next working in T. Wells will defintely call in. Keep it up - fantastic shop, amazing products, a lovely and friendly welcome.

We purchased a selection of cheese for an event we were hosting and Jonathan not only supplied us with absolutely delicious produce but was great with communication. His knowledge and advice was spot on and we would not hesitate to use The Cheese Shop again! Thank you!
