Owain Glyndŵr's Parliament House, Senedd-dŷ Owain Glyndŵr Machynlleth

Disappointing visit. None of the interaction boards were switched on, and only 2 helmets for children to try on. Could be much more visitor friendly with mock ups of events etc & even dressing up clothes for the little ones to reenact with

Went there for some acts at the Match Comedy festival. Lovely space. Lovely garden where they had set up food tents and had a live band.Didn't visit the museum. Tea shop seemed nice.

What a humbling experience. To walk around this building with so much history in front of you... simply incredible.Shame these places are not advertised more

Called in to this delightful cafe by complete off chance. Good welcome and service, great snacks, lovely people, atmosphere and history.

There is nothing really here! It could be very interesting because it is a place of some historic significance. But there are no real exhibits, just a few information boards.At least it was free to enter. There is a small shop and a cafe next door.

a well presented museum staffed well and orderly but I must comment that I expected a little more than what was on offer, I cannot exactly relay what Ithink was missing but after quite a trip to visit here a bit disappointing for me perhaps some more Welsh history maybe..

Lovely staff. Very helpful. Too much 'stuff' around inside hall to appreciate building, and needs a bit of housework ! But generally worth visiting.

This was once purely a heritage site, with a quite hefty admission fee. It has now become a bookshop, cafe, and community hub - and is all the better for it. The bookshop is an excellent one, focusing on Wales, Welsh history, and Welsh culture. You can still see all the features of the parliament house and access audio guides and interpretation pieces about Owain Glyndwr, although you might find that you can't access the upper rooms if a workshop is going on. The original features of the parliament house are beautifully preserved as are a number of later rooms in the building, much of which is a large eighteenth century gentleman's townhouse, where there is a cafe, toilets, activity spaces, and a community bike shop. The bookshop owner doesn't mind you going into the parliament house proper just to look at the building.

Excellent place to visit. Homemade cakes and freshly cooked snack type food. Staff are lovely people.
