James made us some bespoke book shelves, an airing cupboard with slatted shelves and heating, and floor to ceiling kitchen units. He also made a door to an en suite bathroom and a garden bench. James is highly skilled and creative and was able to make our vision a reality. We were delighted with the finished items. James is very professional and we enjoyed working with him.

James recently built us bespoke cupboard kitchen units to house white goods and a pantry. From the first visit we recognised James was a consummate professional. Nothing was too much trouble and his standards were exacting. He is friendly and we had no doubt he could be trusted in our home unsupervised. I would not hesitate to recommend James and I look forward to engaging with him again on different projects.

James made fitted wardrobes for 2 different bedrooms. Our house is a victorian terraced house and as such had alcoves of different sizes and shapes. We are so pleased with the results of James's hard work and attention to detail. He made one set to match a pre existing bed and the other to fit around a superkingsize (very awkward) bed.They are 'painted' to match the new decor in each room. The construction is superb and the finish second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending James. He listened to what we wanted, offered advice and we now have wardrobes that are functional and beautiful created by a real craftsman.

James is an absolute hero. We wanted a fitted wardrobe in our master bedroom and also needed a few alterations making to existing kitchen cabinets and he couldn't have been more helpful and professional from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble (he even did himself a mischief lugging the enormous panels of our wardrobe up to the top of our 3-storey house!) and, as an expert in his field, his recommendations for improvements all hit the target. James's attention to detail is second to none and he clearly takes great pride in his work, which extends to aftercare as well. We will not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

We are very happy to have found James and his excellent design and joinery skills. We are now the proud owners of a large and very smart fitted wardrobe in our bedroom. Colour and material choice were decided during a very thorough site visit. Outstanding design, workmanship & attention to detail. Prior to moving into our newly-built apartment, James visited the building site with us to discuss our specification. Unlike a mainstream upmarket wardrobe manufacturer, he was able to make the doors from floor to ceiling – nearly 9’ high – to achieve a clean contemporary look. We respected his knowledge of current trends and changed our spec from off-white matt with off-white interior to go with our off-white walls! The pale blue is cool and in keeping with our panoramic sea view; the textured interior warmer and more special. The wardrobes were inexpensive, exceed our expectations and enhance our apartment. Over the moon with our bespoke fitted dog bed and inbuilt cupboard! James really bought our vision to life with his flare for interior design, especially for the dog bed door, sourcing a niche bit of kit to make it look really slick, and the oak inserts to round everything off.Really appreciated James’ punctuality and communication, keeping us updated on the whole process. Also thought he was reasonably priced from the start but seeing the finished product and the attention to detail we’re really pleased.Have now recommended him to friends who are looking for fitted furniture, and he’s now fitting the inlaws inbuilt entertainment system. We want some inbuilt wardrobes for the bedroom next year so already know who we will be using – thanks again James!

We found James' website and fell in love with the furniture he had made in ply. He has built us a fantastic under-loft ply storage cupboard and drawers to extend our wardobe space, and created a beautiful under-stairs laundry area with large bi-fold ply doors. He has also fitted our kitchen and bar area, as well as made in-alcove cupboards, vanity, fitted shelves, built in wardrobe, a full bay-storage seat and bespoke desks.We've been so impressed with James' creativity, attention to detail - like adding a push to open drawer in our under-stairs cupboard - and absolute commitment to getting jobs completed to a really high standard, which isn't always the case when working with trades!I can't recommend James highly enough for creative, bespoke furniture. James designed, built and fitted wardrobes in both of our bedrooms. He does not use kits but builds everything from scratch. His workmanship and attention to detail was second to none and quite rare in this day and age.
