20 th may i visited there.i ordered fish and chips.very bad frying.all chips dark golden.the kitchen lady dont know who to fry the chips .she is un profishional.this id my first and last chance to buy.very bad experience.

My husband and I visited this cafe today, and we won't be going back, we ordered two drinks calamari rings and a cheese pasty. The food was dry and over cooked the tea was milky (even though I asked for strong tea little milk) and tasteless. £8.45 wasted.

Quick order collection. Plenty of staff actually working. Clean smelling oil traveling down the street . Large enough drink . Fish was massive . Even normal size . Well cooked . Chips were good . Good size of gravy and curry . About £30 for 3 top end but worth it

Been today dog had thrown up near the eating area inconsiderste owner had obviously walked off but cafe staff just left it instead of swilling out of site. Then chargd 6.50 for 2 single scoop ice creams a wafer cone and a sugar cone. Absolute rip off will not be using them again. It used to be excellent value.

OK. Immediate surroundings are grotty, but the views are good. A tray of fresh chips for £1.50 is good value.

Had fish and chips x2 came to £22 with drinks I wouldn't take it for free it was clearly frozen fish chips where terrible stick to Mr Thomas better and cheaper all went in the bin.

Philip says a brilliant place to go for the afternoon. You have the top of the range ice creams.the children love it and you have all the food and the pub life for the parents. And after all that you can have a walk around the lake.brilliant day or weekend for all the family. And don't forget the camp sights for the caravan and camping fans . What a brilliant place to go. I feel staff are rude we are a family of 5 and when ordering I was looked at like I was asking to much non of us finished our food I ordered a cheese and onion pie it come and it was a pasty chips where awful not chippy chips at all will not be going back

Disgraceful attitude from the young staff . Refusal of legal tender after a 20 minutes queue. Same as the ice-cream van and the other cafe at the car park. Later discovered ALL owned by the same company. What the hell are Rochdale council doing allowing this over priced business" decide cash is no longer legal tender. Shame on Rochdale council."
