I think the self service tills are very difficult when you purchase large amounts, and B&Q should reconsider their push for all self service, I personally have seen customers leave their purchases and walk out when faced with self service.

Ordered a shed but it is about 1/3 the size was in the description. Customer service cannot do anything as they say it is just from B&Qs supplier on the marketplace. Not sure what this means when I ordered it from B&Q’s website.

I have always found the staff helpful, it's the big push to self-service checkouts that annoy me. I went into the store 3 days ago with the intention of spending close to £400 in cash, no tills open and i don't have a credit card. I put the stuff back and walked over to Wickes, they had a human being on the till who was happy to take my money. If this is B&Q's way forward, i wont be going there again.

Absolutely useless as always. Phoned the shop, asked if they had any induction hobs in store, they replied they had 2 different ones for my size. One at £138 and one at £200.Travelled 20 mins to the store, the £138 one is ceramic not induction, so guess what, had to buy the £200.Fuming because I'd already done my home work and could get one from Retford Argos for £150.How difficult is it really to do your job properly!!

Just came out of b&q worksop.Went to click and collect counter to pick my order. 4 ladies on the counter. Just to bring a smile I cracked a joke citing wow 4 ladies to serve me" ( even if there were 4 guys I would have said the same stuff) as I do like to crack few jokes or similar kind to bring a smile on people's face. There was this lady named Angela who seemed to be in some responsible position rudely asked me how can she help me. This was not at all polite and without a smile and reason best known to me and her and was in an illusion that I would not take any notice but seeing my quick reaction where I did bring this to her notice that she was rude and would make sure to leave a review on this

The staff are very helpful, and we have had a really good discount offer on our new bathroom, so all good. Deliveries are prompt and the communication from the delivery company is excellent. We have had a few blips with the things we hâve ordered, but these have now been rectified.
