Gochu Korean corndogs

Great service, the corn dogs I had were delicious and freshly made. Also had their Korean bbq burger. Everything was delicious and it’s definitely one of the most unique food offerings in Birmingham at the moment. I’ve also tried cafe anno and there is more variety and flavour in Gochus corndog offerings. And everything is halal!

No answer on the phone multiple times. No sign to guide us to the dark kitchen when we got to the address hoping we could order there. Not everyone lives close enough to order on an app.

Very concerning area, they do not answer the phones when trying to order.

Ordered over the phone and went to collect. Was a bit difficult to find initially but trying to food for the first time i think it was amazing. I love the cheese sauce on the loaded fries, the corn dogs were delicious and i feel they were better than others I have tried. My partner had the fire buger and said it was delicious. We will definitely be back

It's a damn shame that I don't usually review a lot of places, but here we are, giving you an insight into mine and my partners' experience ordering from Gochu.It has been an appalling experience, and it's our first time ordering here. We were really looking forward to our order, in which we got a Munch Box and a Combo Box and spent £36.78. What a waste of money. Let's take you on our journey for what we experienced...1) The food took a long time to arrive, initially we thought that it had been made fresh so that was ok2) Upon delivery, we noticed that the chicken strips and drink that were a part of our order were missing3) As we were about to try the corndogs, they were completely stone cold. I understand the weather can play a part, but damn, the Uber Eats drivers have insulated bags, so it should've been at least edible4) The fries were burnt, and in the form of a McDonalds kids' size portion5) And finally, the presentation of everything was poor, and it really looked like the delivery had been thrown togetherAll in all, we were very disappointed. We rang the business and the lady on the phone apologised and blamed the delivery driver for forgetting part of our order and that he had other deliveries so that is why the food is cold. It's understandable, but not stone cold like it's about to open a can of beer and stomp some mudholes. She then suggested we warm the food up in our oven or microwave after we just spent nearly £40. I just couldn't fathom it.Alas, we had to throw the food away. We're not risking re-heating at the behest of the restaurant. It's such a shame, but I can not see us ordering from here again.
