Delicious, High quality food at Poacher's, with excellent attentive service. Relaxing background music. I enjoyed the poacher's mezze platter, Welsh beef lasagne and the bread pudding. Great value as well..

An absolutely fantastic evening at the Poachers. From the wonderful welcome to the relaxed atmosphere with acres of space between tables. A chilled vibe created by relaxing modern music. The menu was superb and created a real teaser in decision making. Everything was local, fresh and seasonal.Beautifully and imaginatively cooked and presented.Hands down the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a while.Thank you Poachers team. Hope to return some day soon.

This is a fantastic restaurant with a great selection of food, wine and speciality gins. The tables are well spaced and large and the staff are attentive without being obtrusive. I cannot recommend highly enough the quality of food at this restaurant and the portions are a good size. It is in its 29th year providing excellence in the community and long may it continue. It is only open for four days of the week so early booking is advised as there is limited availability because of its popularity. This is definitely one of those places I would never get tired of attending and one which is on my radar for the next time we visit this part of Wales.

Poachers has good reviews for a reason. It is a superb restaurant and worth every penny. The food is mouthwateringly moorish, the service is attentive but not overbearing and the atmosphere is perfect for a restful meal. It is a real pleasure to dine at.

Had a very enjoyable evening meal here. The atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely. Had a really delicious and interesting salad to start with and then a larger starter of veggie pancake to follow rather than a main which was plenty. Even managed to fit in a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Would definitely recommend.

Really tasty food, portions quite large however but great value nonetheless. The slow cooked lamb shoulder was exceptional as was my wife's curry. No room for dessert and the restaurant is closed now until spring next year we will be back as we regularly holiday hear.

It's a real treat to eat out at such a fantastic little restaurant. The service was excellent and the food second to none. Great selection of starters with some unique choices. Main courses cooked to perfection with good size portions and a vegetable selection that took the meal to another level. Then to top it all fantastic desserts that left us all feeling as though we had a meal and a half. Couldn't be faulted and highly recommended.

Just managed to make it to the last booking of the evening and it was well worth it.Fantastic food, with their seafood medley being exceptional.Lovely wines too, and great service.Would definitely return.
