Nice decor, good quality pints. Loss of 1 star as I miss the old bullring game that used to be here. Place has lost a bit of it's unique appeal since the refurb. But all in all a very tidy friendly pub.

First time we have been here.A fabulously friendly pub. Very welcoming by both staff and other visitors. The friend I went with is a wheelchair user who very much enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.Dog friendly too.

Visited Saturday tea time with friends. Looks like it's been refurbished recently. It's been very well done. A warm, cosy, welcoming & friendly pub. The ale is well kept & well served. They were happy to serve a mug of tea for my wife too. We'll be back.

Traditional local with well kept Bank Top Beers. Friendly to visitors and clean with reasonable prices. Didn't eat so no idea about food- hence no rating

Excellent pub, and great real ale on tap with bank top brewery being a cut above the rest!!! And fab atmosphere, with friendly bar staff, can't recommend it enough, keep up the good work girls, fantastic.

What a transformation ! Lived local to Old England for 7 years and been in once prior to the Refurb. Its now our place to go for a quiet drink. Lovely staff, very friendly. Large range of Ales and Gins as well as bar snacks. Cant Fault the Place.
