Halfords - Falkirk

Purchased a bike plus multiple accessories today. Very happy. Matthew was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient and kind. Highly recommend 10/10

Truly awful.After booking an appointment to have my bike serviced in advance, when I got to the shop I was told there was no one available to carry out the service. So what is the point in having an appointment system? They said They'd phone me when the work was finished, I didn't get a phone call. I went back to the shop at closing time, after a little confusion they said the work was done and I could take my bike.Part of the service was adjusting the saddle bolts to the manufacturers recommended torque, they may have done this but they'd set the saddle to a height where I'd need to be about 25cm taller to even sit on the thing. The brakes had been adjusted but the front brake had obe pad pressed against the wheel so it only turned with effort and the back brake had both pads clamped against the wheel and didn't turn at all; on the report they gave me it said the back wheel didn't turn freely and I should pay them to fix it, it didn't turn because they messed up the brakes.The gears were working fine before I put the bike in, now they only change gear sometimes. I'm guessing they were adjusted with the same level of competency as the brakes.I had to push the bike home and then spend about 40 minutes trying to make it roadworthy.I'm now going to have to put it in to a competent company to get them to check for and fix anything else Halfords have messed up.

Staff were so helpful and friendly Greg was very helpful my son got air con checked never got the member of staff who done it but was Canadian and very helpful credit to your store.

I have a cycle care with Halfords which says I have 10% off cycle accessories, when I bought my bike I was told I only need to give my email address for the 10% off. The service was very unfriendly when I asked about the 10% and I was charged full price despite giving my email address. I don't think I'll be returning to Halfords to buy accessories.

Made an appointment online, went to store and told to come back in 30 mins. We returned to be told that they were to busy and our bike had not been looked at. There was three staff members in the store chatting and no other customers so not sure how they class this as busy. Total waste of time

The staff in this store are amazing,the whole team but mainly Lyford who I have dealt with on many occasions . Robbie+the others are great too,courteous, polite+ever so helpful.Lyford is so focused on the Customers needs+explains everything in detail.Thanx to all at Falkirk . The only store we use.

Store unable to make up a number plate for me as machine was broken! No suitable folding bike racks on sale. Discount that was offered for first order over £30 on joining Halfords Motoring Club was not available! Told to contact customer services? Not positive experience today at Halfords at all!

The service I received whilst buying a new bike for my daughter was excellent. The member of staff who served me was Matthew. He was very knowledgeable about the bike and the accessories. I also purchased a bike carrier for my car and again he was very knowledgeable and make sure it was the correct carrier for my car. He was extremely pleasant and there was no pressure to purchase any items. He is a credit to the Falkirk branch of Halfords.
