My gripe is with the online system, not the garage itself. The system doesn't have the correct tyre to your registration plate. They have 3x choices for front and 3x choice for rear, why? If you put your registration number in surely the correct tyre would show for that car! But be warned not with tyrespot! Anyway we happened to order the wrong ones for rear. Because it was paid for online. The garage couldn't put on the correct tyre needed. It needed to go through HO although it was only £1 difference in price. So I was told I would have to ask PayPal for my money back, then re order the tyres!! Then go back to the garage. So not only the time to go to garage twice, but the added inconvenience of requesting money back to pay an extra £1 for tyres which could have been ordered for my car make and model. As it was the weekend I also have to wait until Monday to sort this!!My advice: Do NOT order with their online system. Watch this space... what happens on Monday?

Booked tyres online 2days before to be fitted on a am appointment on Saturday at Tyre Spot Gilesgate Moor, DURHAM. I actually phoned the garage on the Saturday morning to ask for the best time to attend on the morning and was told 10.30am. I arrived at 10.15am and was told abruptly it would take 2hours for 2 tyres to be fitted. Approximately 1.5 hours later I received a phone call to say my tyres were fit, but the tyre fitter had snapped 2 of my wheel studs. When I arrived back to the garage I was told I could drive the car out of the car park with only 3 studs in place, and I had to sort to get it repaired myself...After a lot of phone calls and arguments with the manager on site and the tyre fitter who said it was not there responsibility to repaired the broken wheel studs. They eventually took the car back into the garage , extracted the 2 broken wheel studs and I supplied 2 new studs that I had in my boot.And I had no appolgys off either of them.Wheel alignment was free with the new tyres which was purchased but did not get done as they were too busy.It took 5.5hours to fit 2 tyres on the front of my car and especially the fitter was very abrupt.And I will not be attending any of your garages ever again or recommending them either.

We use a few different tyre suppliers and Tyrespot are by far the best to deal with , we had a small issue with a tyre supplied by them and they went out of their way to rectify the problem.Many thanks to the Guy who owns Tyrespot as he personally went out of his way to deliver a tyre for us !!

Rotten service staff lie about booking in vehicles for Morning appointments refuse to repair tyres always ask you to come back or leave vehicle and when you return to pickup vehicle its not been done this is the fourth time they have proved they don't care about the customer or Tyre sport worst staff they ever had at North Shields well they lost my company will not be back
