Brook Street Post Office

Went to this Post Office twice today, first at approx 1 o'clock and found it closed with sign saying would open at 3pm today. Then went back at 3.30 to find a sigh stating opening 10am TOMORROW. What a waste of my day & time off work. They really should be open more reliably as they are the closest Post Office for a lot of people! Shocking!

I attempted to pick-up a parcel I had delivered here. Unsuccessful after about 5 attempts, on different days, and at different times (both before and after work).The advertised opening times (6 am - 5:30 pm) are a complete lie. With no indication as to why it is closed, during the normal" opening period.I ended up getting a refund

Awful post office. First time I went, I attempted to post a parcel with them. The lady behind the counter just took my parcel and threw it in a post bag and said thank you". After looking at me blankly for a few seconds

This is a disgraceful way to operate a post office and needs to be reported immediately!....The last 4 occasions I have gone to post packages and being greeted with a sign on the door '' BACK IN 5 MINS '' The problem is here it is never 5 minutes it is more like 20+ minutes with no apologies for the inconvenience caused .I run a business so my time is money which I consider more important/valuable than the people running this post office.No set times on the door indicating opening or closing or lunch hours! They just close the place at their own convenience on a whim....When I asked where they go ? the reply from a lady also waiting was '' They are up stairs eating or delivering newspapers '' They are that mean they will not employ a paper boy but want to throw everyone else's day out of whack waiting for them.Please do us all a favour post office owner and let someone who is committed to the job run it as it is very apparent to me that you are to bloody lazy and incompetent to do so.

Frequently closed during opening" hours

I went in this morning to buy stamps, said good morning" to the lady behind the counter only to be blanked! Once she realised I was there and got off her laptop I asked her for stamps

Post Office never open when advertised (“back in 15 mins” sign on the door), then when I actually get inside any time it is supposed to be open - “can you wait 3 minutes”, I then wait for 10 minutes plus whilst she works on other tasks to finally get served. Service is absolutely appalling. I have even been served whilst the shopkeeper is on the phone on multiple occasions.

Friendly. Been using a while now. Posting records abroad. Not had any issues sometimes have to wait longer depending what customers before in line requests like any other PO. Not bothered about lighting i could see (

I have never known a post office like it never opens on time. I work in a shop and i have to close up to bank and waiting 30mins for it to open is a joke.
