Gizel Kebab Bar

Sorry, upon checking the prices and realising that I was sneakily charged an extra 50p for paying by card I've had to amend to 2 stars. Firstly, because it's illegal and secondly, they didn't tell me. It is not 1 star because the kebab was pretty decent, with lots of meat and salad (worth it to satisfy a post night craving), but it was £9.50, so it should be.

Very nice guys, very nice food! On a Tuesday at least. It may be charnage in Saturdays I simply don't know... but the food is great and so are they!

Even the one star is generous! The staff are so rude, the food is gross and the pricing is ridiculous. They seem to take advantage of the pub goers after a night out. They charged me for an extra kebab that I didn't ask for but didn't realise until I got home and checked my bank. The chips tasted like they had been sitting in oil for hours. They charged my friend 8 quid for a small chips and a scoop of hummus!!! The men serving were so rude! My friend asked for chips and she didn't get them so she asked where her chips were and he replied very rudely Oh so you want chips now" and when we said she did ask he replied "well next time speak up!" I was warned to check my bank after as well because they have a habit of charging you twice or over the price and as I can see from the reviews this seems true. Also no hygiene rating on show. Will never return to this place. Its gross!!!"

Absolutely vile. If you want to have your head in a toilet the next day, this is the place for you.

Went alone as a woman at night. Ordered and tapped charge by phone. Trusting them on the price of what I ordered… which was a tenner. Checked my bank as I was there by chance. They charged me £23!! I confronted them straight away and the two men were aggressive and shouted at me. Scary and not acceptable at all. From the below reviews it’s obvious they like to take advantage.

Had given up on buying burgers out, I have no issue with paying for quality but I am against paying silly money for something that’s simple to make and not enjoyable. Had a quarter pounder from here tonight, it was juicy, full of flavour and the staff were wonderful. Would travel again for a burger like the one I had tonight

All the bad reviews are true. Bad quality, high prices. Just preying on the drunk people that wouldn't know or care what they are eating. For the rest, don't eat this garbage.

Overcharged me by 4 quid because I was (probably visibly) drunk. Respect the hustle but come on. Owner had good banter but olive and mezze is a 5 minute walk down the road and far far better food and cheaper.

unreal scran had a Doner wrap with chips and garlic in, it was bangin, will be back

Overpriced chicken kebab and chips. The pita was full of salad with hardly any meat (like 3 bits of chicken). Definitely not worth the money.
