I wouldn't make a trip across town to visit, but if you're local and need to get away from things for a bit it's lovely. Nice big field to play games on; lots of little all-weather paths that take you on short walks through the woods. 2 mins off the main road and you almost feel like you're in countryside.

Peace and quiet in the middle of a busy city some spectacular views including the new Ikea store. Historic place enjoy walk with the family.. passing people polite many 'good mornings' dogs welcome

Lived in Sheffield all my near 52 years and never been here. Interesting history surrounds Wincobank Fort.There are a couple of information boards regarding the fort.I just wish some trees were cut to give us an unimpeded view of Don Valley and beyond.

Lovely walk and what amazing views. Watching the sun come up was amazing. The autumn colours dappled by the sun were beautiful

Grassy common on Jenkin Road Wincobank surrounded by a wood and copice's scattered about some long grassy patches for wild life plenty of room for Children to play safely and walk your dogs remember to pick up after your dog please, there are 3 seats to sit and rest. Please be careful if crossing the road it is very busy and the cars cannot be seen comming around the bend on Jenkin road.

I may be a little biased as this is my local green, but nonetheless it is a wonderful place for a quiet walk. It's probably not as maintained or picturesque as other parks, but is nice if you don't want to bump into lots of people.
