I want to write a quick review for Alison and Olivia who really helped us with the move to our new house. We weren't the most patient of buyers but they got back to us with updates when the sellers solicitors were difficult and got the sale through on the day we wanted. A big thank you. :)

We decided to use Lancashire Law as they were recommended by our estate agents. After pricing up against other solicitors, they were a bit more expensive but as they were recommended (and therefore a good working relationship between both businesses) we decided to pay the extra for ‘convenience’. The extra wasn’t worth it. We really felt like conveyancing was a bit of a hindrance to their usual work and that it was a case of them doing the bare minimum. They really struggled with the idea that we were selling a house in my wife’s name and buying a new one in my name. The amount of times that we had to remind them of information or them asking the same questions that had been previously answered was annoying. They would also benefit from reading up on the Plain English Campaign – emails were frequently unclear what they were trying to say which needed further clarification at times. They’re competent enough and the end result was fine as we completed successfully.
