Access Self Storage Hemel Hempstead

Taken out a storage unit on two separate occasions and both experiences were great. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the place clean and tidy. It’s easy to hire a unit and getting in and out to your unit is just as easy. Would definitely come here again.

Excellent customer service by Sevi. Signing in was easy and quick after making an appointment. I was shown available options and sizes of storage facilities before making a decision and was offered to stay and wait at the reception while waiting for my removal company to arrive. 5 stars!

Outstanding service and a reasonable price. One member of staff went above and beyond to ensure that when we had to downsize storage unit that we were given a space near the original unit for ease. We very much appreciated all of the staff's helpful and friendly attitudes. I would highly recommend Access Self Storage, Heme Hempstead.

I've been a customer of Access for just under a year. Set up and moving in was seamless. Always helpful and pleasant on site. I originally had a 350sq/f space but found it was too large for me so over this weekend I popped in (3.30 on a Sunday), was shown an alternative unit and swapped over there and then - even though they were closing at 4. The centre manager even kindly bought up some water whilst I was moving the contents and we had a nice chat about the company (he had been there over a decade and only had good thing to say). The Hemel branch has everything you could want, secure, clean, great loading facilities and helpful staff. Really has been a 5* service and happy to recommend this company.

Mwana was so helpful. She helped me set up a storage unit. Gave me all the details, figures and storage information in a clear, concise and friendly manner. I've also looked around the Hemel branch and it is clean, tidy and an ideal place to store my things whilst I move house.

The team at access self storage were great in setting me up with my storage unit, even on a Sunday! They explained everything I needed to know as this was my first time with a storage unit. It is worth noting that despite what the website says, it is not 24 hour access, I asked the team about this and they said they are working on fixing the website, but are able to offer a later out of hours access if you do need it.

We have been customers at this branch for almost 5 years and have always been well looked after. This past month though the customer service and staff attitude has been shocking.Staff are unfriendly, unhelpful and have a bad attitude. I understand it’s not the best job in the world but it doesn’t take much to smile.They have also debited my account with £100 for leaving a desk in our previous unit… it’s their desk they let us borrow in the first place. So we left for them to have back. They won’t budge on giving a refund so we have now unfortunately decided to leave this unit and use elsewhere.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Took plenty of time to explain how the storage system works.

I’ve used other lock up stores previously, but this one is the best.First, I was attracted by the competitive price after googling.Secondly, the Hemel Hempstead store is in a prime location and offers easy access.And finally…..Thirdly - what a bunch of incredibly enthusiastic staff!!! So friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing was any trouble and the whole process to sign up and get my unit was really quick.I’m so pleased with my unit, I’ve now taken on a second larger unit as well.I’m happy to leave this review because I’m genuinely so pleased.

Moving house is never easy but the staff at Access went “the extra mile” to help out. They were sympathetic to our predicament and showed compassion but also practical assistance. We thank them very much. The facility is all we would want in terms of cleanliness, security and ease of use. We highly recommend Access Storage
