Aroma Oriental Takeaway

Worst Chinese I have ever had . Ordered Sweet and sour, crispy chilli beef , spring roll and rice . The mains were clearly old as I could hardly bite through it . Dry and cold .Spring roll cold and needed warning . When I called I got awful service . They are rude and argumentative. Avoid this awful place . There are far better places to eat .

They got our order wrong last night. I phoned when we were home after realising and they asked me to take the dishes that were wrong back to the takeaway, which I did.No apology or anything, they just handed me two of the three dishes I originally ordered. By the time I got home again everything else was obviously stone cold!! Not happy at all with their after service. Shocking attitude.

Please read all as fairly long......Unfortunately we had poor service recently. Been using for past few years and been good but recently curries have turned out to be very watery. Thick to start with but after 5 minutes turns watery so not pleasant. Tried to explain about this and even took a curry and rice partially eaten from 2 meals for one. Gave some good feedback and assumed we agreed to a free meal for X 2. Reordered this week but when picked up was charged £17 which was full price for 2 meals. Tried to explain about the previous meals only a few days previous but the full price was insisted but a free pack of spring rolls. After trying to put my point of view across 1 meal was taken off but not good enough as previously agreed. We finally agreed but the owners took all extras from the meal and allowed us to have the rice and noodles only despite having a bad experience previously. Thus place I used to value but to me it's very clear that customer service isn't a great aspect of what they believe in and saving as much money and displeasing customers is something they continued to do which to bd honest is a real shame..... For me they have gone down in my opinion and I shall not be going again now as I explained to them surley my customer is more valuable than £17. Big shame but their loss I'm afraid. Seriously need to work on their customer service....... good example is domino's next door got my order slightly wrong recently. I gave feed back and didn't ask for anything but they insisted on a free pizza...... good customer service. ..... Take notes guys or u may loose more customers.

Aroma was really good and would use at least once a week. It has gone down hill drastically in the last 6 months. Smaller portions . Food not always up to standard and the staff very impolite. Will not be using this place again .

Absolutely delicious ! I just moved into this area and I am more than happy to have THE BEST take away in Peterborough NEXT to me ! Chefs made our meals very quick and lady explained to me how the meals looks like so the girl at reception did. Very friendly and positive people there. My parents from abroad had a great opportunity to try a really tasty food.Thank you x x x

Have used this takeaway for years and never been disappointed, but tonight was awful, ordered £40 worth of food for the family, firstly the guy taking the orders constantly running his fingers through his hair ( not very hygienic) it took 25 minutes for them to cook, only 1 other person in shop, the lad was using a microwave toi have always recommended Aroma but not ifheat food. On getting the food home, (don't live far away) the pancake roll was literally dripping grease onto my plate and not a small amount and didn't look cooked. The chow mein was okay but all the food was nearly cold. Don't know if they have new owners but no where near the standard it was.

So we made quite the big order for the whole Family which we did all agree that the food was really nice, however the problem was with the menu that you're directed online has not got the right pricing on there. Which in the end has cost me about £10 more than what I was meant to pay, I rang up the following day to query about price and the only thing I was told was that This was an old menu and that they don't do home delieveries" which the second part I didn't even ask about as we did know to pick it up. Feel slightly cheated and the menu on the website that you're being directed to has the old prices which is false advertisement."

Had a takeaway last night and in each dish was a massive amount of onions. Love onions but looked like you were bulking dishes out. Shame. Your food is normally great and no need to complain.

So very disappointed. This used to be our favourite Chinese takeaway. We tried their new salt and pepper box it was burnt too. Food didn’t taste as nice as it used to.
