Absolutely brilliant service. I brought my wedding dress in which needed altering and a few changes made to it. Habib knew exactly what was possible with the style of dress and did the alterations perfectly and within great time. Would highly recommend and will come back with any other alterations in the future!

Knew exactly what I wanted and used his expertise along with my vision for what I wanted to tailor my suit perfectly. The turnaround was incredibly quick and I'm so glad I used Habib to get my trousers finished and shorten the sleeves of two of my jackets. He did a great job and I highly recommend him

Was recommended by James at Eclectic Hound so I was expecting good service. Bought a suit around 1pm, needing altering for following day. Completed by 3:30pm on same day.Very pleased with the urgent turnaround as well as the quality of the work.Habib’s professionalism and advice was great and I’ll definitely be returning again.Services completed - jacket sleeve and trouser leg shortened.

I was panicking a little when I went in with a jacket that didn't quite fit my shoulders, 2 weeks before my wedding. Two tailors had already said there wasn't anything that could be done, however Sew Fit said 'yep, no problem, I can make that fit'. A week later I picked it up, and it was so much better! There was a small subsequent issue with the front of the jacket, which he fixed within the hour. Thanks so much, your expertise and skill means that I'm now totally happy with the suit I'll wear on my wedding day.

Awesome Tailoring service.I have had Jacket Sleeves shortened (not an easy job with jackets with patterns etc.), trousers shortened and also the waists taken out.The work was faultless and without question the best tailoring I have ever had done.The work was very good value for money and all turned round within a week (even without asking for any special timings).I would recommend higher than 5 stars if I could.Just drop in for great service, thanks !

I was wearing a full length Primark faux fur coat on a visit to Winchester in December. Being Primark, the poppers on the coat all came off on one side during the course of the weekend. I popped into Sew Fit to see if they could re-attach the poppers and the man said it would take 15 minutes. I went off for a cup of tea, then returned to pick the coat up.The repair was complete, the cost very reasonable and the poppers are still in place after 4 months. Absolutely delighted with the service and would highly recommend.

**UPDATE**The owner called me about this review. He said he didn't know i was unhappy because i didn't say anything at the time. That's surprising given it was my wedding that week and there had been so may mixups/mistakes. Yelling at him would not have been helpful, but i was clearly not happy.He offered to refund me to take down the review, when i said i was uncomfortable refunding since he did the work, he used a rather snappy/abrupt tone saying I don't need your £80" which i didn't appreciate.When i said i would consider a refund to change to 4 star with an update

Quoted £500 for an alteration without even seeing my fiancée in the dress.Shame as we had read such glowing reviews of the place.Man behind the desk seemed very disinterested and dismissive.
