Always a good time here! In particular the Mackintosh house is stunning. £10 or free with the National Art Pass. Main gallery is free.

Really enjoyed the gallery. Mackintosh House is beautiful, and it was incredible seeing the design details in person. Don't skip the main gallery, though it is definitely worth visiting.

The Mackintosh House within the gallery building is remarkable, and the guides displayed great enthusiasm and knowledge. The gallery itself displays related pieces. A most enjoyable visit! So glad we took it in.

Free entry (donations); good collection in modernish space - and you must visit even if for 10 minutes after visiting the Museum over the road. Extra charge for the rebuilt Macintosh house pictured here. (The official listing seems to link both museum in more historic space and art gallery, which is a little confusing)

The Hunterian Gallery is right next to the Macintosh Museum. The Macintosh museum is not free but the Gallery is. The Gallery has a variety of exhibits from classic art to modern paintings and sculptures and performances. At the time they also had a Mary Queen of Scots themed exhibition. The Macintosh Museum is a recreation of the original house the artist lived in. It is an excellent way to get an impression of the unique style of the artist. A must see for all design interested.

We came specifically for the Mackintosh House and were not disappointed. The curation of the exhibit is so engaging, polished and authentic. Took advantage of the thoughtful senior citizen discount. The meticulous reassembly of the house interiors originally from 6 Florentine Terrace is nothing short of stunning. Mainly of interest to architects and design aficionados, the small turn out on that day allowed us to luxuriate in the rooms mostly to ourselves - such a treat! Certainly not to be missed when visiting Scotland.

This museum is incredible. Beyond that all the building is an architechtonic jewel, the collections are great. Shows scotland's roman heritage, bronze age tools and weapons, palaeonthologic treasures like trillobites, amminites and even a plesiosaurus full skelleton! Two areas specially made for children. Clean, tidy, safe and FREE!

A cool mix of art. Exhibits were on the smaller side making it easy to get through in a short amount of time.

A fascinating collection that spans millions of years. From Trilobites to modern abstracts this is a gallery that spans two buildings. While entrance is free ti the Gallery, the reconstructed Mackintosh house requires a ticket, and it is truly the stand out part of this collection. Is very busy mainly with schools visiting.
