Great place for meditate urself or dog walk. Just in front of beach making it more nice so u can have different kind perspective about this place rather then pebble beach. All I missed some benches or sheds to sit for elders which is good for bad weather too.

Our favourite dog walking place in the area. Seeing the comments about the occasional smells, algae grows on some trapped water in the heat of the summer, and of course there is a water treatment plant behind the trees.Recent changes to the dog walking rules make it on lead walking only inside the concrete path to protect resting birds on the shingle beach especially in winter. Football field and rough grassland next to the caravan park is okay for off lead dog walking.

A lovely place and a haven for a myriad of Kentish wildlife.

What a beautiful place , the marsh area with the wonderful and rare range of bird species that live there- amongst them the Little Egret, and visiting Comorants. Plus the other bird species like Brent Geese, Turnstone, Sanderling and Curlew that migrate here flying 3000 miles from Canada and Siberia stopping off here to feed and re- gain some weight before setting off on the next stage of their journey to the eastern coast of Africa . These waders " were there as usual though numbers have dropped over the last few years

Small nature reserve which has been left to encourage some rare species. My only criticism would be the smell of sewage in a pool on the shingle which seems to have filled at a very high tide after a water company no doubt decided to pollute our lovely coastline again.

Plenty of open space, what seems like a good park nearby.

Quiet little beach just along from Tankerton slopes. Play park and skate park 2 minute walk. Nature reserve is suitable for walking and mountain bikes.
