I do not recommend this store.I wanted to order a new phone for my wife as a gift and explained that it had to be delivered before Saturday.The system showed that it would be available on Wednesday, so I ordered it. I was surprised when I came on Wednesday to ask if it was ready and I got the answer that I had to wait for the email. waitingon Friday, I received an e-mail which, of course, I did not receive. I went to ask again whether the phone had arrived. To my surprise, after checking in the system, still nothing and I was told to call one of the branches to check where the parcel was. the person I talked to informed me that such an order did not exist, so I went back to the store for clarification and it turned out that my order did not exist, luckily I had a photo of the order and a confirmation from the card. Unfortunately, I will not receive the phone that was supposed to be a gift so quickly and it was ordered from the manufacturer's website but it will be delivered in a few days.I would like to thank currys for the situation, well done!ps. I wouldn't give this one star either, but unfortunately I can't publish it without stars

This store seems to have changed.We have purchased a lot of goods over the years form the store.It seems to be run different now.We had a problem finding someone to help us as we wanted to purchase a laptop.There was a few other customer looking for help when we were also looking.One of the other customers told us not to bother and pointed a man that was standing watching what was going on in the store, and told us that is the manager so what chance have we got.We went to one of their other stores and purchase a laptop and a washing machine.Curry's is a good place to purchase goods from, but not this store.The problem is the management.Just go to another curry's store to purchase goods, they are still offering the service that curry's is known for.Or just wait a month or so until they remove the current manager.

Came to pick up a phone ordered through carphone warehouse. Approached the collections desk and said we had a carphone warehouse order to collect, we were told our order reference had to start with a certain reference number, which it didn't. Went back and forth a few times with this, even stating we're picking up a phone so are they sure it would start with the normal Currys reference number, to which the girl said yes. Finally the girl asked for help where we were then told we needed to go to the Carphone warehouse desk, here we waited 35 minutes until someone was able to serve us, in the entire store we were told there are only 2 people capable of giving us our phone who were both busy. No one came to check on us at all while waiting, we had to approach staff members to try and find someone who could help

Joke of a shop, and my god the attitude of the women who served me operator (49 Annette) she was rude talking to other staff while serving us no basic manners didn’t say please or thanks once. The overall experience was bad all the staff talking or on the phones not interested in serving or helping customers. But then again if they have the same attitude as operator (49 Annette) I would rather them not speak to me !!!!

Sadly another poor review for currys. Beware if you are going in store. Buying with cash or outright with card and they have it in stock. The staff as always are Brill. However currys obs are making a play for online only. Are they are not set up for it. If you go inshore they say out of stock uy on line for products that are on display. There online purchasing is useless. If buying larger items and using their creation finance forget it. I have an account setup with available funds. But if I try and buy online or in store it becomes so frustrating because it is never straight forward. To the point I don't have time to faff about and the last purchase I made I paid cash and will be clearing what I do have with creation. The worst thing is I have to show on here it's happeneing because noone seems to know whats going on or be able to sort it out. Leaving me and the staff bewildered. And when you try amd sort it online as they say. It shows no problem but still doesn't work. It's such a shame. I have been loyal to currys even back to the days they were in competition with Dixons. Very sad. Very disappointed.

We've purchased a gas cooker from Currys Telford store at the beginning of June and have also paid for the installation of the gas cooker. On the day of delivery and installation, we were told that they can't install it because we don't have ventilation hole in the wall. We were told to take out a brick in the wall and replace it with an air brick. However, due to the location of the gas cooker, behind that wall is our garage, so we've had 2 holes drilled, 2 ventilation fans installed and a ducting hose that connects them to the outside wall.Another Currys gas installation pair were sent, had a look and said we can't have the hose connected to the extractor fan, and the ventilation cover on the outside wall can't be a flap one as it only draws air out and not in. So, we disconnected the hose from extractor fan and replace the ventilation cover to what was suggested.On the third time of another Currys gas installation pair, they believe the standard 100mm diameter hole is not big enough and we should have a much bigger hole and a metal air vent tunnel. We have a small kitchen in a semi-detached 3 bedroom house. How much cold air do they want coming through that great big hole?In the end we've decided to go for a refund for the installation and find another gas certified engineer. All this fuss has taken 2 months and our new gas cooker is still sitting in our garage unpacked.Honestly, they could have checked that the customers are aware about ventilation when we've made our purchase at the store. Hand out a guide with pictures on what kind of ventilation are accepted. Don't just use word of mouth, but provide an actual guide with pictures of the kind of ventilation fans, or duct hoses are accepted.

A little while ago we placed an order for white goods ,the cost was between 7 and 800 pounds . We paid £30 for delivery in the next couple of days which was accepted as part of the order in an email to me shortly after . Within the hour we were on our way home and received another email to say that they couldn't deliver as agreed and gave me a date several days later . I found this to be totally unsatisfactory but as I'm sure you all know how virtually impossible it is to speak to a human being in these organisations. Anyway, eventually I did and to cut a long story short ,no change to the delivery and after one more call the delivery charge was refunded.So Curry's, in future as you don't seem to want to treat customers as customers ,I will (and have been) spend my hard earned elsewhere.Cheers

Shop is a shambles.Staff prefer to finish their conversations rather than help people. Waited at the till (wasn’t staffed) and was seen by a member of staff at the tech area who looked over and decided her conversation was more important.She then appeared to finish her gossiping and decided to grace us with her presence on the checkout.Item labels are priced incorrectly which seems to be a reoccurring theme in this store. If you want a PC, please look online for some good advice from people who know what they’re talking about.

Awful customer service, I was looking to buy a laptop that wasn’t in stock in the store, the sales adviser advised that they could order it and it will only be a couple of days because I needed it for a certain time he even offered to throw in a managers bundle of £36 worth of stuff just so he got the sale. We’re now past the deadline I needed it by so I asked for a refund because it was no longer needed and they could only refund the laptop not the managers bundle so this ordeal has cost me £36 of equipment I didn’t even want. they can give it you for free and tell you lies but when it doesn’t go there way they want money for it. I definitely won’t be shopping here again and I would advise anyone that has been told they can order equipment in to be careful what they offer you.
