I cannot speak highly enough about Steve MacTavish and his team. After months of trying to find a decent company to replace my entire bathroom, and getting some extortionate prices, crazy timescales and no-can-do attitudes from various companies, I found MacTavish, and I'm over the moon that I did.Shona in the office was always helpful, and Steve is an absolute gem. So easy to contact, always kept me in the loop. This was a big job, including total removal of everything, rebuilding an internal wall, installing new ceiling, full electrics, joinery, plumbing and extensive tiling. They did everything I wanted, and when encountering issues, Steve either came back to me with solutions, or just managed to find a way to make everything work. Could not ask for more.And a special shoutout to the kind member of staff who carried all of the fixtures and fittings up many flights of stairs to my top-floor flat when the delivery was very delayed so I couldn't be around to accept it myself - again, MacTavish finding quick solutions as problems arose.I got the bathroom I wanted (see before and after pics), at a very reasonable price.I would not hesitate to recommend MacTavish Plumbing & Heating to anyone. MacTavish recently undertook two bathroom refurbishments for us. I was impressed with them from start to finish. At the beginning they took a long time at their showroom talking me through options, showing me samples and photographs and making sure I was happy. They had a number of challenges: the house is in a remote area up a steep hill and the works took place while it was snowing; they were working to a strict timetable as I had guests in the house the week after they were due to finish; I had my heart set on a stone bath that was really heavy and tricky to manoeuvre; and they had to try and replace flooring without ruining the underfloor heating! They managed it all admirably, and the results are amazing. I would highly recommend Stephen and his team for their professionalism, excellent communication, attention to detail and keenness to make their customers happy.

Soo happy with the teams job. We had really struggled to find someone for the job but Stephen MacTavish was really accommodating throughout and did an excellent job, more than we expected really. Couldn’t have worked better. Would highly recommend.

We have found this company online with my wife because we needed a whole new central heating system in the house, and after having loads of issues with quite a few plumbers. We were a bit hesitant. They really took the time to think about the best solution for us, and advised really well. They delivered the new boiler on the day they said they would, came on time of the day of installation, 2 folks on site, super nice and pleasant, good vibes ! Job done well. So far so good… thermostat is finally configured properly, and pressure is better that it’s ever been. They left the place perfectly cleaned… good chat and clear explanations. Thanks guys
