Lido Bon Vino at Sandgate Hotel
Lovely restaurant with great views and decor. Top notch service and the food is fantastic. I had the delicious burrata to start with (also highly recommend the huge garlic bread with cheese!), followed by a delicious Fiorentina pizza and finished off with a homemade tiramisu.The local beers are a great touch and a lot to choose from. Highly recommended.

Had a great Italian lunch and bottle of wine here at Lido Bon Vino. Luckily, the sun was shining, and you couldn't wish for a better seafront location to share a bottle and pizza.For starters, we had a generous, tasty garlic bread and a sizeable portion of fresh calamari. Both were perfect!We shared a large Florentine pizza with a caprese salad side. The pizza was superb, and the caprese was topped with olives and rich sun-dried tomatoes....Excellent!!Service was on point, and the manager took time to talk through the food and drinks..It was my first visit here, and I can't wait to come back for an evening meal very soon..

Really tasty pizzas and pasta with a really good selection of wines and my favourite gin. All whilst sitting on a sun soaked terrace looking out to sea. It doesn’t come much better than that. Topped off by efficient, friendly service

Pizza was really tasty but slightly soggy in the middle. Not a big deal, would have it again!We had three toddlers with us who are all still in nappies, having no changing facilities was a bit of a nightmare, we had to go into the toilets in twos so one person could hold the bab and the other could change them- not ideal.Did notice a big empty wall in the ladies which could easily house a changing table!Overall, nice food, nice drinks, good service- not toddler friendly.

Very nice place and friendly. Great service. But....tough and disappointingly tasteless but peppery sausage pizza. Not Italian type sausage which I would have expected as the chef is Sicilian. Partner's pizza was better with plenty of ham and mozzarella-like fior di latte.Still a bit tough though.Delicious white wine....at a price and only in 125ml size. And the tables were very small too!Have had many better pizzas....locally too, so disappointed overall.

Fantastic pizzas, excellent wine list and very good service topped off with a fabulous view of the sea. Great to see this hotel brought back to life. Highly recommend

Lido Bon Vino at Sandgate Hotel
Best pizza in Folkestone by miles, if not Kent!The toppings taste so good… amazing quality.My fav so far is the lido bon Vino special, the tonno and the sausage pizza. Also the best pasta in town. The sausage mushroom pasta is also brilliant.Lovely spot looking out to sea as well.
