Winstree Medical Practice

I am yet to have my appointment at the doctors but my first booking experience was exceptional. I rang at 08:00 and was 22nd in the queue, my call was answered within 10 minutes and the reception was more than helpful. Fingers crossed that the appointment goes as smoothly!

Very disappointed, it was the first time I needed an appointment for my son after registering with this GP, I starting calling dead on 8am with the appointment line just beeping and cutting off and every other line ringing then cutting off I had no choice (after calling 111, who sent a referral to the GP) but to go there in person.I got told that they have no appointments left for the whole day ( this was now at 8:20am) and when I said about the 111 referral she then had a look after again telling me there was no apps left, once she looked she then said she could get a doctor to call that afternoon..After I agreed she then kept saying about how they do not take appointments face to face and that you have to call, I tried to explain that I understand this but the phone was not connecting to which she kept talking over me and then said “you see, if I’m dealing with this over the counter I can’t answer the phones” (the phone was ringing at the time).Now, I work for the NHS In appointments so don’t get me wrong I understand, but I do not see the need for the rude, sarcastic remarks when all I’m trying to do is sort out my baby boy?This made me very angry and upset, there is no need for rude, sarcastic, disregarding behaviour like that, as the message says on the phone when you call this GP “a kind word goes a long way”

Honestly the worst place with the worst staff members, the doctors just do not care and want you out the room as quick as possible. They set my prescription for 4 days later even though they could see how ill i was, when trying to get in contact, the receptionist didn't let me even say anything before they finished the call. Luckily i am moving soon so i do not how to deal with these horrible people.Always have rude reception answer the phone every time i call, passive aggressive, horrid and vile to say the least

An outstanding level of care from Dr Ramjan!I was wanting to discuss something quite personal and Dr Ramjan made me feel incredibly comfortable. His open mindedness and gentle nature were exactly what I needed and he was just incredible. Although emotional after opening up, he has made me feel so at ease and in safe hands.I wanted to take the time to say thank you for being such a wonderful doctor, and that you are a credit to your profession.

Just wanted to say that I have found the service at Winstree Medical Practice outstanding. I have always got an appt on the day I called, the receptionists are very helpful and kind. The doctors and nurses are extremely professional and caring. I just wanted to thank all the staff they are all doing a fantastic job. Cannot praise the service I have experienced more. Thank you!

The receptionists are always so lovely and polite when I come in to the surgery. They are always more than happy to help and assist with any enquiries I might have!

Just wanted to say a very big thankyou to the Secretary at the practise, i have been in touch with a concern and bless her, she expedited the referral x 3 for us. We now have an apt. In 2 weeks with the Consultant, rather than the 30 weeks we were quoted by the hospital!Thankyou so very much for your help!

Unfortunately the whole of the NHS is on its knees and every service is under extreme pressure. I have never had a problem with getting an appointment as you can book online within a couple of days. If urgent again never had an issue. All clinicians are extremely kind and helpful. Winstree has had its problems but have turned it around with loyal staff who want to make a difference

The most absolutely useless GP surgery I’ve every known. I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and have only managed to get an appointment once. This morning I called 19 times to get in a queue of 30 to then once the call was answered the receptionist just hung up without a word said. Not sure on the doctors but how the practice is managed is a disgrace to the NHS.

A very efficient and caring team. Whenever I call to book an appointment I’m always greeted by a lovely receptionist. There is no problem getting an appointment on the same day. Nurses are kind and professional. Dr Obisesan was very professional and friendly,I never felt rushed, he listened carefully to make the right diagnosis, happy to answer my questions. With a struggling NHS, those people are doing an amazing job.
