Central Garage

Could not get my petrol cap off this morning, no help offered from owner who stood watching talking to a mechanic from garage, no customers around ...so could of left shop for 2 seconds ...wont be going there again

A great little team, always friendly and helpful. They have a limited range of food and drinks along with those little items to help you keep your vehicle on the road. I usually pop in on my way to work.

First garage to put up its prices and still the highest around. This place must be making a fortune.Very expensive. They are clearly in competition with the Texaco garage further down in the Town. Avoid this filling station unless you're happy being ripped off.

I am an NHS worker who came into this garage recently during the fuel shortage. I travel to and from the hospital each day. I unfortunately mis read there signs of 30 max as they are so small and went over by 10. I was wearing my NHS badge aswell. The woman and man behind the till spoke to me like absolute dirt, shouting at me there is a fuel shortage, First off there isn't a shortage we are not running dry people are panic buying because of the media. You are still receiving deliveries regularly as are tesco and others who have said so clearly. Secondly the man and woman were so aggressive the way they spoke I actually felt quite scared. Disgusting and will not be using this garage again. They do not deserve the trade. Learn some customer service skills without that you will not have a business.

Fantastic garage, covers everything you could need. Fuel, sales, service, mot, coal, logs, gas the lot. Super friendly and honest, decent old school business. Highly recommended.

Always efficient always a clean and a professional appearance. Machines work even air pump is of a higher standard than many garages. I'm fairly local so can compare with other garages and they have a good reputation. Thank you.

Such an unhelpful man in the central garage shop my young daughter was in desperate need of the toilet but he wouldn’t let her use his and then sent us on a 15 minute walk away
