Brilliant builder, brilliant workers. Tony is great to work with. Unlike someone else's review, her has never ever demanded money, before any work is done. He has done an absolute fantastic side extension and upstairs bedroom build. The quality of work is brilliant. I have no hesitation recommending Tony Pestana to anyone. Thanks for an amazing job. Absolutely brilliant builder. Tony and his team have done a fantastic job that is to a extremely highfinish. Came out on time and on price. Very well organised and you have confidence that there is always someone on hand to answer any emails/phone calls.I would highly highly recommend Tony Pestana

By all accounts Tony is a good builder. But perhaps due to high demand he cannot honour commitments. I have made several appointments but he never quite made it to my door, due to one excuse or another. I have since found out he asks for payment before work is completed and treats staff unfairly. I’m also very glad I did not end up using him on our house!

Tony and his team have just completed a fairly large mansard extension for us.Despite staffing problems (not unusual at this moment in time) the work has been completed to budget and on time.Tony was accessible throughout the project and we were able to discuss issues that came up. Ana in the office was efficient and friendly throughout. We are happy with the work and I would recommend Tony Pestana builders.

After finalising our home improvement plans with our Architect, Tony Pestana won a very competitive tender through excellent value for money and Tony’s personal service. He came highly recommended to us from our friends who had a side return and new kitchen and family room built. We liked the comfort that Tony provided with him having a proper office (which we could visit) and an excellent support team who were always contactable. Tony provided an efficient and effective solution to any ‘problems’ that always arises during major building works. Tony and his team were very considerate about working around our young family and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone else wishing to improve their property.

I had the pleasure to work with the company and i have to say that tony pestana is a high quality builder. His projects are above average ( hes also very good with design ideas ) .I left because i found hard to connect within the team.But definitely proud when seeing projects coming to life .Thor .

Tony Pestana Builders have been involved in over 34 projects that we have designed. There work has been very good. They have won awards from London Building control for the quality of the buildings.On numerous of the jobs the clients have had them back for further work time and time again.They are a small family firm, who aim and do a good job. I was a little surprised by the one star reviews

So, although a 'rare reviewer' thought I ought to quickly post something about my (lack of) engagement with Tony. Before asking him for a quote I looked at reviews and saw a couple that said he never managed to make any of the appointments to view the job; well, that is my experience too.He is clearly a busy guy as we only managed to make a date more than two weeks in advance, which of course, is not a problem. The first appointment was for 4.30 on a Monday. I duly left work 1.5 hours earlier than normal and headed off home on my bike. On arrival home at 4.20 (yes, I am always early for appointments - is how I was brought up!) I saw two missed calls and an email. Tony would not be able to make it as his car had broken down. We rescheduled for 8.30 am two mornings later. I notified my boss that I would be arriving late and shifted my 9.30 meeting. By 8.55 he still had not showed up and I made the decision to leave the house as I knew I couldn't work with (and pay circa £150k) someone who failed to make two 'key' appointments. What is more, he was unable to contact me to let me know he was running late again.I now feel greatly relieved that I didn't stay as I simply do not have the time (yes, I am actually really busy too) to waste waiting for people to 'do their job'. I have no reason to think he would not have done a great job, but am pleased I didn't have to wait, and wait, and wait to find out!

We have been working with Tony Pestana for the past 7 years and has he always been great to work with.His work is of very high standard and have never had any issues when coming to install our products.I highly recommend his services

This company has been doing extensive refurbishment in a house across our block for at least 6 months. Obviously construction noise/ disruption isn’t ideal, but this goes beyond any level of acceptability due to the behaviour of the contractors.This company has had such a negative impact on my day to day life, I’m beyond despair. The construction noise begins after 8am (mostly), sure- but the contractors loudly arriving at site, shouting to each other, that starts from like 07:15. The angle grinder is used right at the start of the start of the day, and then all. Day. I can’t work from home. I can’t open my windows and balcony door in the heat. I can’t have a moment of peace on my balcony to decompress when stressed.Contractors peering through my windows, shouting, basically no consideration for those of us who have to live around the site for the seemingly indefinite works they’re carrying out.If you’re considering instructing this company to do work on you house PLEASE consider hiring a company that is actually considerate to those around them. This just isn’t fair. There are companies which subscribe to the “considerate constructors scheme” a please consider these instead.Thanks for taking the time to read my review and good luck with your renovations.Sincerely,A desperate neighbour
