Fantastic place! Went in to get some stubborn pedals removed. Job done in next to no time and the chap didn't even charge me. Offered to buy something from his shop but just said do it next time. Proper bike shop.

Been coming to this store for almost 50 years. Its a family business I think. I used to get my bike repaired here as a kid. And now recently went in to service my bike that had been standing in the garage for many years. For a very reasonable cost my bike was ship shape again and using it right now. Forget about all these big bike stores. These guys can sort everything out.!

Had my wheel repaired here, 7 spokes replaced at a very reasonable cost. The mechanic identified the root cause of the failure, and when I refitted the wheelI took the whole bike in and he repaired the frame, there and then. A most excellent service. Highly recommended.

what a lad, fixes my bike right fast and takes it in. used him over 25 times for derailleur, chain, wheel, bottom bracket, dropper post, drive chain cleaner, cassette swaps, ordering derailleur hangers, cleaning brakes, trueing wheels, changing over rims into the same hub and spokes, redoing cables and finding an answer to random problems such as when round of a bolt or removing treads by accident. thank my local saviour.

Excellent service. tl;dr: go to this shop first.I initially took my newly bought second-hand bike to another shop in Sheffield for the equivalent of an MOT. They had it for three weeks. Very soon afterwards the gear hanger broke when the chain caught and seized on the cogs on the back wheel - clearly the derailleur had been left unaligned. I decided to try Butterworths. The fix was almost half the price of what I was expecting and given the busy period of the season we were in it was done quickly as well. Highly recommended.

Sorted out my gears and got the bike back to me within a day turnaround - very reasonably priced as well! They even stocked a helmet big enough for my giant head - recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy service

Great experience. Came in with a skipping chain and stuck cassette. Got it sorted and changed in less than 5 minutes!Shops a mini Aladdin's cave so you know it good!
