The worst service I’ve seen, called them for over a month to make a booking for the spa as i have a vowcher and will never pick up, receptionists are incredibly rudeDon’t answer emails eitherTerrible service would not recommend

As someone who has had massages quite often, I was delighted by my 55 minute pomegranate full body massage. My masseuse (Beth?) was careful to understand any injuries I'd had and the level of pressure I wanted. Very good induction, massage and aftercare. They have three packages for treatments and I think the pricing was great. As others have said, it's a compact spa and, as is typical in a hotel, it's in the basement. I think thats' reflected in the prices. Some of the IT felt a bit wobbly: for example, taking my payment involved waggling some cables around. I'll certainly return.

Just had a lovely couple of Spa treatments with Seanna at the Mineral House. Lovely massage with just the right pressure and a really relaxing experience overall. I'll be back and would thoroughly recommend both the place and Seanna.

Small but mighty!. Quite a nice small sized spa with nearly all the facilities.. Includes a 10 meter pool, jacuzzi, steam room all in a relaxing environment. It has a small but modern gym room fitted with the latest techno gym machines and excellent knowledgeable and friendly staff.It's inside Crown plaza hotel so upstairs you get access to modern restaurant and bar with 15% discount for members of the spa.Also benefits from complimentary car park to members. I haven't tried the massages yet however members get 20% discount on all treatments which is excellent in comparison to other spas in Newcastle. In general as of yet it's an excellent spa in the toon with good facilities. Hope it stays like that.

I booked a spa experience midweek. The staff were helpful and the treatments were nice, but the spa facilities themselves are absolutely tiny. The pool, spa pool and steam room are squished into a very small space. There are also around five loungers crammed together by the side of the pool.The experience we booked included a two hour use of the facilities. Shortly after I arrived two young men also arrived. The shouted and very sweary conversation they were having around the spa wasn’t exactly conducive to a tranquil atmosphere(!!) I left after about fifteen minutes and would never go back. Avoid.

Had a fabulous experience at the Mineral House Spa.Facial treatment from Laura was first class.Afternoon tea in the Crown Plaza restaurant was really lovely.All the staff in the spa and restaurant were very welcoming.Would definitely recommend.

I've never used another gym so can't compare. It's small though (the gym). Jacuzzi is lush. Pool is nice for relaxing. Too small to swim properly in though. There's a steam room and massage rooms too

Booked a midweek spa package very reasonably priced. Spa facilities very clean and professional staff, the massage was fantastic and very relaxing I can see now why the mineral house has a great reputation. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing day. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was not working when I arrived but did eventually come on an hour or so before I was due to leave. The afternoon tea was also outstanding and freshly prepared very professional waiting staff.Overall a really pleasant day. Highly recommended first class.

Really nice spa, lovely staff! Cute little gym and pool.The changing rooms need some TLC - some cracked tiles, many lockers not working, and some shower doors missing. Toilets are fine however. Also a sign stating no mobile phones in the lockers would be a good rule, they have them by the poolside but I think these need to be in the changing rooms as well. Children not allowed in from 7pm would be welcome as well, many jumping in being noisy and taking over the pool making it more of a leisure centre rather than a relaxing spa pool experience. Some zen music around the poolside be a nice touch, one time it was playing and lots appreciated this.
