Holy Trinity Church Hope

Lovely place, lovely vicar.

A fascinating church in a beautiful setting. A must to visit.

Settled in a leafy valley alongside a small stream, the Church of the Holy Trinity in Hope is a picturesque parish church, built in 1843 in the Norman style, complete with buttresses and lancet windows.Approaching from the south will take you across a bridge and up to the church; the graveyard itself is rather wild, in a gentle, moss covered way. There are thick banks of snowdrops around many graves, and lots of shade cast by the trees.The church was locked at the time of my visit, so I shall call again in future.
