Edinburgh Student Flats

Really disappointed with the treatment we received from this company, we were let down and strung along massively made to believe we had a flat secured and then told last minute that we could no longer have the flat. We had to move back home and commute 2 hours daily to university as we had no where else to stay in Edinburgh. They were really unprofessional and offered help that we didn’t receive and many of our emails didn’t receive a response or key questions and concerns were ignored within emails sent to them but they replied to what was convenient to them. Please do not use this company to find a flat as you could be left in the same difficult position as us as it’s already difficult to find a flat as a student never mind being left to find one last minute once your course has already started and you have moved out of your accommodation.

Stayed in this company's accommodation for 4 years. Excellent, spacious flats in great locations. Landlords are accommodating, fair and eager to help also.

Enjoyed three years with Edinburgh student flats with no issues. Would greatly recommend.

Tell you you've secured the flat, get you to send them all your and your guarantors ' personal documents then come up with absolute lies as to why you can no longer get the flat. Don't touch them with a barge pole!

The current residents at 14 Granville Terrace, Edinburgh are committing fraud. Police have been contacted.

We secured a flat with this company after several viewings and sent them all our personal details and paid a holding deposit. We exchanged over 40 emails within 12 days telling them about ourselves along with a full application each and guarantor information and CLEARLY stating that we were 4 individual students, arranging move in dates. Around a week before our arranged move in date we received an email claiming they thought we were 2 couples moving into the flat and they did not have a Hmo licence ready for students. We have multiple emails proving this was not the case and they knew this was not the case. In one of the emails that was sent to them it was stated “My current flatmates and I (4 people) are nursing students”. Never once stating that we were in a couple! They then proceeded to inform us that we could no longer have the flat because of them not knowing we were students even though it is a company providing flats for students “Edinburgh student flats” due to this we were left homeless and they promised they would help us find a new flat and they have never contacted us since, also ignoring our emails asking for the assistance they promised us! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
