It's a shame we are having to leave this review, considering Masons had come recommended. Unfortunately, we don't feel we had the best experience working with Masons and as this was not resolved by the managing director, we are keen to share our experience with others.Be prepared to do your own viewings as it's often the case that an agent will not be available. In our case, it would have meant that viewers would wait nearly a week if we had waited for an agent to do the viewing. When we were initially signing up with Masons, we explained we wanted a quick sale as we had already seen a property we wanted to buy. It was unfortunate that Masons were unable to accommodate any of our viewings as the viewers often wanted to see our house with a quick turnaround. This probably won't be an issue for others if you are not in a rush like we were.Communication was hit and miss throughout the process, but the communication completely deteriorated once we had raised our concerns with the managing director. Replies to our emails took multiple weeks, on one occasion waiting over 3 weeks, with numerous occasions of us having to chase for a reply. It's disappointing that our concerns weren't ever really acknowledged or ever resolved.Throughout the buying/selling process we were fortunate enough to have had the direct phone number of our buyers and the sellers, otherwise, the sale most definitely would have fallen through due to a specific deadline that had to be met. Jess is a credit to the team and her communication was great, however when she wasn't in the office that was when the issues happened.We definitely won't be using Masons again and certainly won't be recommending their service to others.Update following response from Masons:- We asked Sam upon our initial meeting for Masons to complete all viewings. It was due to the lack of availability that we had to complete the viewings ourselves.- I appreciate it may have been a busy period, but if you can't provide a service to a satisfactory standard, you shouldn't take on so much work.- We were in no rush to complete and it took roughly 4 months in total from offer to completion, which is around average from what we are aware.- In regards to the portal, we have been told multiple excuses as to why this was not used, none of which correlate with one another.- I appreciate you make take all complaints seriously, but clearly not seriously enough. I had to chase on 3 separate occasions for a reply regarding our complaint, and each time we received excuses or shoulder shrugs regarding our concerns and still no resolution.

been renting with Masons for eight years now and in the last year and a half. Our neighbour has caused nothing but issues with our dog barking what they only bark for a few minutes at a time. Having problems with Andy at McDonald’s engineering with their dogs barking for two or three minutes at a time, and now he’s put up a CCTV camera pointing straight in our house.
