The Town Council offices are located on the town's high street. The front office immediately off the street is open to the public. A variety of tourist brochures and information is available there, and the friendly Council staff are on hand to answer any questions and provide information. The town council's website is available on line to provide information on such items as the dates theTown Council has its meetings, events happening in the town and other local information and details of interest. The town is a traditional Wiltshire market town and has a variety of Pubs, restaurants, tea/coffee shops, takaways and supermarkets to cater for visitors and local residents.
