The parking is superb here with loads of spaces and it’s refreshingly free. Top marks for not charging. The location is absolutely captivating. If you visit Kent on holiday then you need to see this beautiful location.

Nice place for a windy walk along the shingles. Car park is a reasonable size and there is parking on the verges along the road too.

We love it here. Came to fly my husband's drone, obviously adhering to the security block around the power station. We got some awesome footage of the area, talked to some wonderful people and had a fun few hours. I just love the landscape, it's like nothing you've ever seen.

How can you describe this place of natural beauty, maybe stunning, desolate, quiet, far for the madding crowd. Maybe it's beauty is all of those things and more, for me it was and is indescribable, although here I am trying to describe it for other to visit. It's shingle beach with vast vistas over the English Channel living cheek by jowl by a nuclear power station is strangely weird but seems normal. The deserted fishing huts and boats lend themselves to photography. But that aside it's a great place to wander and refresh one's soul while listening to the crunch of shingle under your feet and the cries of sea birds above. Go visit, you won't be disappointed!

Free parking at the roadside for several cars. Easy access to the beach and a small walk to the snack shack.

Lots of parking along the verges and the carpark, all of which is free. The beach is shingles with lots of interesting vegetation, be mindful of both flora and fauna as it is a site of special scientific importance and a nature reserve. There are a few places to eat and drink, lots of outside seating. There is also a place that sells bait and it seems very popular for fishing. There are also lots of old wrecked ships and rusted equipment.
