Pool Farm Veterinary Surgery

Sadly no longer an independent and part of a bigger group. Been using them for over 15 years but very very upset as took a cat in who had lost a lot of weight and were told it was his front tooth and one at the back that both needed removing. We went with their advice as they are the vets. When we went to pick him up we found he'd only had just one removed as the one at the back wasn't a problem but he has now had to be pts as it turns out he had a massive mass in his abdomen which was the cause of him losing so much weight and which wasn't picked up. He had 3 visits for his weight loss and only his teeth were examined. The vet where we took to have him pts noticed the abdominal mass straight away and couldn't understand how it had not been picked up especially as he'd lost a massive amount of weight but we were told it was teeth.The final nail in the coffin as not the first time we had problems

Gemma and her practice nurse were extremely patient and careful with our miniature dachshund and her poorly back. A really careful examination took place and our normally frightened little dog was relaxed and not scared. Many thanks

Absolutely disgusting vet's. They have no compassion for animals or clients. Needed a 4 week old puppy to be seen today as an emergency due to breathing problems and a rapid heart rate. Got left in a room, spoken to like rubbish for the 2nd time. They had nobody in there but wouldn't see to our puppy. Our puppy is now in a critical condition at another vet's who have so much compassion for all animals. We have been with this vet's a few years but after today I will never step foot through their door ever again!!

Marvellous veterinary practice, showing care, compassion and understanding when small pets and horses are unwell, or at the end of their life. I heartily recommend them and Ella in particular has shown us remarkable kindness at a difficult time.

After the unexpected passing of our dog fudge I rushed to pool farm vets for assistance, however unfortunately it was too late. My mother was away at the time and they advised they would contact my mother the following week to finalise the details. They released Fudge for cremation without consent from my mother and then accused me of lying, saying there had been a breakdown of communication. At 30 years old I am well aware of what I was advised and how they’ve turned the blame onto us is absolutely ridiculous. They pretend they’re a small village vet but deny the fact they’re actually owned by a corporation and have been for years. Disgusting service and absolute scumbags.

I want to thank Poole Farm for looking after Marley, she had an Entropian operation earlier on this month and I was petrified! But they've done an amazing job she is absolutely loving life and her eyes look amazing! Excellent vets & service. Would recommend to anyone I know

Very good vets but a little bit more expensive than some other vets in the area

We have only just registered our dogs with Poole Farm vets.Just want to say thankyou The staff are very friendly especially the vet that saw us with our pippa (westie )on wednesday so sorry I cant remember your name .want to say a big thankyou you were so thoughtful and caring when we had to sadly put our baby to sleep .
