Canterbury Historic River Tours
On 29/10/2023, last boat cruise of the year! The guide is great, very friendly, excellent knowledge of the wildlife and history of the place. We were with two other families. Less than 12 persons on an electric boat. Quiet, but quite fast. I called just an hour since before the ride since all boats were full in Canterbury. Simple to access, nearby restaurant/pub. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A figure-eight itinerary on a canal that originated in Roman times gives you a look around the back of historic Canterbury. Our guide/rower told a collection of interesting stories about people and events that shaped the city that's here today.It's popular to bring dogs on the tour, for reasons I don't understand. Boarding/leaving the boats will be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Tickets can be booked online.A short walk from the cathedral through pedestrian areas. Several restaurants (Wildwood, ASK Italian, Po Boys, Five Guys, Weavers House) are all right by the departure point.

Myself and my 2 daughters took this tour for the first time yesterday. Although we live quite local we had never done it before. We all loved every minute. Our tour guide was full of knowledge and kept the whole boat entertained throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to all.

Canterbury Historic River Tours
Fantastic tour! Our guide was very informative, polite, helpful, and funny. We got a lot of historical information about the river and surrounding areas. Our guide had a smooth charm that made it very enjoyable. Riding in the boat was very relaxing, and the view was amazing. I can't recommend these guys enough, I would do this tour again!

Absolutely amazing tour around Canterbury! Our tour guide was Mr Hewitt, he was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions & made the journey very enjoyable! Couldn’t of asked for a better tour guide tbh! The river & old buildings were beautiful and worth every penny!

Loved this! We went on the 4:40 tour, perfect time of day! Guide was wonderful.We signed up in person. Tired to online but if a tour is within 2hrs you are unable to book online.
