Had a lovely meal here, don't let the outside fool you, inside it is warm & welcoming. If you require a small meal, then that's fine, unlike some eateries

The specials board gives you 2 courses plus tea or coffee. I had the cheese and onion quiche which was made by the cook and was honestly the BEST quiche I've ever tasted. Prices extremely reasonable too

It may not be flashy or fashionable, but this is a proper Northern Caff! Good wholesome food, home cooked, great value for money and friendly staff. A great place to catch up with friends. Eat yer heart out Starbucks and Costa and the like!

Warm, inviting cafe that's not as full as it should be.The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and even if the menu is only for brunch and sandwiches, they do well with it.It's accessible for wheelchairs too, and the staff are always willing to have a chat with you. Lovely place to go, but unfortunately it gets overlooked by the other good places to eat.

A really good cafe for a delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff & a happy atmosphere with plenty of regulars. Will try their lunch menu next time.
