Such a lovely place. The food and service was remarkable, really top notch. Waiters were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend, will come again!

We were visiting the area and decided to order a take away from New Safron. It was delicious and every dish we ordered cooked to perfection. The greeting from the team when we arrived to pick up our order was warm and welcoming. We are looking forward to visiting Thetford again and dining in at New Safron in the future.

Called in on Friday evening on the off chance they had a table free. Wonderful service. The food was excellent and the nan bread was the best we have ever tasted.

Went here for a curry night with 6 other people, and all the food was amazing! And the service was equally as good. Very polite and attentive staff. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting!

Ordered take away and was really looking forward to good scampi but it was awful not proper scampi it was the mashed up rubbish. I can't eat that it has to be whole tail scampi. For over 10 pounds you'd expect decent meal but it was the worst scampi I've ever had. Please don't order this dish if you want proper scampi as you'll be very disappointed

I was up in Thetford for a course and realised I had booked my bus back to Cornwall the day after so looked around for some food.I love Indian cuisine and quickly found New Saffron on a online search.What can I say, it was beautifully cooked.Much better than the local curry houses near me.I started with a mixed kebab start (which I kind of wish I had ordered for my main.) It was so well cooked. The meat was juicy and so flavourful.The main I had was lamb dish that the owner recommended and boy I'm glad he did. Just the right amount of heat and again the meat was cooked perfectly.I had a side of rice and a keema nan.Even the keema was expertly made. Not to much mince in it the was its supposed to be, but enough to get the lamb flavour through it.The owner was a very nice man. He would go above and beyond for any of his customers and all I can say is well done to him.A great place to eat and next time I'm in Thetford I shall definitely be stopping in again.
