Visited a few weekends ago and the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful, she’s passionate about what she does and it shows, I would highly recommend treating yourself with a book from this carefully curated, beautiful bookshop rather than going to the big chains.

A wonderful independent bringing a literary heart and soul to the high street of Herne Bay. A fantastic and friendly alternative to big impersonal chain stores, the bookshop is community-focused and hosts a huge range of fun events, clubs and pop-ups for every demographic - from book signings, to teen reading clubs, and even writing workshops! The team are always ready to help out and have a great stock of new releases and classics, and are keen to put Herne Bay on the map.

The Little Green Beautiful bookshop is a beautifully styled, cosy and welcoming book shop in Herne Bay, Kent. Jacqui, the owner is really helpful and considerate at helping you chose books, for gifts or for your own indulgence! Well worth popping to see what they have to offer!

Took the family into this lovely shop today, as a break from the biting cold of the beach! I love a good independent bookshop, and this is definitely a great one. A lovely personalised service and a fantastic choice of books - it was hard not to want to sit and read every one of them. Oh, and dog friendly too, which is always a plus!
