Kwik Fit - Grimsby

I have given Kwik Fit 1 Star as there is no option to give zero. On my previous visit to this branch the staff stripped my locking wheel nut and tried to say it was already damaged, this was after they had already removed one wheel with it. On my most recent visit I was booked in for a fleet vehicle tyre replacement and was made to wait whilst staff tried to get authority to fit the dearest tyre in stock, which was declined. I was then told to come back the following day to get a value tyre fitted. Why was this authority not gained before making the appointment? This has just wasted my time, fuel and energy attending your appointment when you didn't have the tyres in stock. Why book an appointment without knowing whether you have the required tyres in stock?I have another appointment with this branch soon and I will edit this review based on my experience this time.I'm not holding my breathe.

I was told by another garage that my front brakes needed replacing . But kwik fit inspected them and told me they were good for a few more miles yet. They could have just fitted them and not said anything.

Went in for MOT and service on a Saturday. They Said it will be done by 11. Went back at 11 and said wont be done till middle of afternoon. Went back in afternoon to collect. Then next morning I noticed drops of oil on my driveway. So looked under the car and the flooring was hanging off! Tried to call about 20 times. No answer. So monday I had 2 drive to work 25 mins worrying about the floor. Then calling them when they open to explain the situation. They told me to get the car down to them. Which I did. And apparently the ware and tare made the flooring come off. Which the case was they didnt fit it back on properly. As I have had the car along time and its never happened before. I dont think you should have to pay for a service before its done. Go back to paying after the jobs been done properly. Them pictures the floor was dragging on the floor but I had it jacked up. Dosnt give the real picture.

The service was completed well. I was advised of a couple of minor areas of future work, but no pressure to fix them immediately. No surprise additional costs.Helpful staff.

I was a little disappointed bringing my partners car here for tyres. We booked a time slot on a Friday afternoon and the car was done nearly 2 hours after the allocated time. I think renaming the business to Slow-fit would be more apt.

Very friendly, efficient and honest. They found a minor problem and fixed it within half an hour. I would highly recommend.

Had Valve changed on recently fitted rear tyre that was fitted by another company, fault was found and rectified straight away all 4 tyre preassures checked, excellent price and work carried out.

Staff went out of their way to deal with a sensor issue following a puncture repair. Excellent customer service.

Visited Kwik Fit for the first time in years due to poss puncture / valve issue. I had no appointment but they dealt with the problem there and then for no charge. Must admit that since my last visit the service has improved immeasurably and would definitely recommend.
