Lovely assistant and seemed very helpful, polite and knowledgeable, but unfortunately it then went wrong, couldn't get everything transferred across, sold a new phone and tablet (which I wanted) then a phone coverand special charging plug, told everything in my bag, but no charging plug was in there. I kept asking what my monthly total bill would be £36 i was told, but that was only the phone not the Tariff.£80 in total. Then I had to leave as shop closing, tried ringing in the morning and phone kept getting put down and cutting me off.Not a great experience and still in limbo. Maybe partly my fault, but I was not shown anything about my new phone, nothing about features and how it worked camera etc. Just told to ring customer service if there was any problems. Not Happy and I worked for O2 for 20 plus years.

The shop was extremely short staffed today which meant customers were having to wait for well over an hour to be served. I was the first customer to arrive at 9:30 but it took nearly 3 hours for my job to be finalised because the staff were so stretched and the member of staff who served me had to keep interrupting working on my job (an upgrade) to speak to other customers as they arrived or to answer the phone. The 2 staff members on duty were extremely good and professional but as they were overstretched they were unable to serve each customer properly, this is why my upgrade took all morning despite being a relatively simple task which should not have taken more than an hour to complete.

Impeccable service today when upgrading my phone, both Ella and Melcumb at o2 in Kingston Bentalls made me feel comfortable and helped me with all my needs. It is great when you build good rapport with your customers and both spoke to me with respect and got to know me whilst serving me.Highly recommend either one of them when purchasing from the o2.

Rude ignorant staff with zero customer service skills and don’t expect to be served without a wait of at least 30 mins any time of the day irrespective of how many people are in the shop because “that’s how it works here” I witnessed an elderly woman who had one question being told she would have to wait 20 minutes rudely because “that’s how it works here”

The worst customer service that I have experienced in a retail environment in the last 10 years. Not even allowed in the shop (to pick up something we had already ordered and paid for). A tip to O2.. if you want to continue with “John’s” employment get him some customer service training as quick as you possibly can.

Feeling nervous already..having new phone delivered to store for click and collect, but not being phone savvy I wanted to choose a time when the store would be quiet so someone could help me set up. Firstly phone not answered, have just spoken to an assistant who spoke so quickly I couldn't understand him, and then would give no indication of anytime they might be quiet.FOLLOW UP Went to store Monday afternoon, Imran was very helpful and set up phone, took some time and he helped other customers, but all done

Horrible! Sold us a huge lie and did not provide the necessary information. Now it’s costing us £70 a month!!! Ridiculous. Won’t recommend this store at all!

They are clearly not interested in the new customer. Wanted to try instead of EE and was asked to book an appointment today ,only to find out I gonna need another appointment when arriving on time.Thank you ,but I better stick with EE!

Terrible customer service, staff seem bored and when asked for help with my phone contract they just tell me they can't help and to call the customer service number who are even more useless, just seem like they care about getting new contracts and nothing about customer service

Had poor customer service both visits unfortunately. First was given a faulty phone, but despite still being boxed in full packaging was blamed for the phone not working? Then second time was essentially refused to be served by the saleswoman if I wasn't also hoping to change broadband provider when renewing my contract??? I totally get upselling, but the treatment was absolutely outrageous - to a point where the clerk lied about prices to get me to sign!! O2 is a great provider, however this store gives the brand such a bad rep. Would advise going to another store or sorting online if you can
