St Peter's Church

Cambridgeshire has only two round-towered churches, this one and Bartlow. So for novelty's sake pay a visit. It's a friendly place with a handsome roof but gloomy glass! Idyllic lantern gate

Nice looking church with a Norman Tower there the age on the outside stops as apart from a few windows everything else is Victorian.Inside there is a nice partly original hammer beam roof above the clerestory and Nave. Some interesting stained glass windows depicting various WW1 machines and warlike activities. All these and more make it well worth a visit.... Did I mention it's one of two round tower churches in Cambridgeshire.
