Gordon Rae decorator

We would give Gordon 10 stars if we could. Not only an excellent decorator and has done a great job on painting our hallway, but he is also a great handyman. Gordon went above and beyond and also painted our radiator, replaced sealant around the door, and helped secure a 6 foot mirror to the wall.Gordon is efficient, talented and very friendly, would 100% recommend!!

Gordon has always done an excellent job for us. His work is flawless and his attention to detail is amazing. He can also repair window sills etc as he goes and makes use of new techniques and products.Gordon is completely reliable and will always finish a job to his high standards.

Gordon came to the rescue at short notice when we were selling our house and had to get on the market quickly. He did a great job and was really fast too. Very friendly and we will be using Gordon for all future decorating jobs we have. Highly recommended

I forget how many years Gordon and Brian have decorated the various rooms but they have always maintained their high standard.Their attention to detail during the preparation must be key to the final finish. Finding the join in the wallpaper lengths was one of my children’s games when they were young tearaways. Now older and much more critical observers they are amazed that even the various whacky black wallpapers that I chose don’t show white seams.Always professional, always punctual, always personable.Plus they are always very tidy.I feel the need to chose yet another wallpaper!Patricia S

Gordon did a fantastic job in our kitchen. He prepared the walls, put up lining paper and then painted them, with quite a few awkward places. He also painted the window frame and the radiator. He was punctual, efficient, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely use Gordon for any decorating jobs in the future.

Gordon and Brian were recommended to us by a friend of a friend and we are very happy about that! They did a lot of work at our house, both inside and out - woodwork and wallpapering basement hallway and shower-room, painting garage, kitchen and utility room. Their work is of a high quality and shows a great attention to detail, particularly at the preparation stage. Brian actually went and got a matching piece of skirting board for our back porch, since the old one wasn’t fit to be repaired. We are especially happy with how our basement shower-room turned out. It looks great now that it’s been decorated, but Gordon and Brian had to work through some nasty surprises when the original wallpaper was stripped off! They also gave us lots of useful advice re finishes etc. They are a pleasure to have around and that’s important when it’s a long project! I can really recommend Gordon and Brian for any indoor or outdoor decoration jobs.

Gordon and Brian provided all the decoration work when we completely remodelled our house a few years ago - and they were fantastic. Helpful and professional suggestions and advice, quick responses to requests, being here when they said they would be, utterly trustworthy - and just such nice and interesting guys to have around the house. The quality of Gordon and Brian’s work is superb. They used a wide range of their technical skills in our house renovation project, paid great attention to detail and protected and respected all our floors, furnishings and fittings. They painted all the outside and inside of our Victorian villa and worked very well with, and coordinated with, other trades involved in the project too. In addition they fine-sanded and sealed a large maple kitchen table and worktop bringing both items to better than new condition.
