I always drink here say I like whelansI always get bulled and laughed at for wearing my leather coats and there are people that laugh about me in this pub and I said I like whelans No I Hate The Whelans Pub I am from Dublin and I Hate This pub the pubs in uxbridge hillingdon I hate the swallow old crown and this pub whelans I hate those horrible pubs the customerswho laugh about me in those pubs whelans is horrible am feed up being bulled for being me wearing leather coats I hate the main customers laughing about me for my leather coats in this pub I Hate Whelans I hate this pub I Hate WhelansI went here again I thought that I will give it another try No Some customers and stuff where making Fun of me wearing leather trench coatsI always say I have to dress normal but l when I dress normal I am miserableI still come back No Am never drinking in whelans I hate this pub I Hate every pub in uxbridge I Hate This pub

This is One of my favorite haunts, and truly is a well deserved experience for everyone that goes and like a good time.Staff are diligent, speedy and cheerful, some even more positive than you'd normally expect. Security is well organized and cares for the safety of the people within and the venue surrounds.Toilets are adequate, though the bolts in the stall always seem to broken.Anyways, best Irish venue around, even some live acts and djs frequently as well as karaoke.Though check the notice boards for upto date acts and schedules.1 star for food, as only offering crisps and kinda stuff. If you want good food , pop down to Nonna Rosa , then come back to Whelan for a Good ol'night !!

Great Sunday roast!!! I ordered the roast beef on Feb 9 2020 and was served a lovely full hot plate just like mom would make - really yummy!!! Definitely worth it!

Excellent place to have drinks on the weekend.Ordered a few beers and some shots of Guinness.The ambience is very nice.And the overall crowd was decent.Ordered some fries as well which were nice and crispy.Will definitely be visiting many more times to come.The service was really quick and did not have to wait hours for orders.

AVOID if you’re going with a group. Went there tonight, entry is usually £5 but the short security guard with dark hair and with a foreign accent at the door didn’t let us in unless we all payed £20 each. We confronted him about it and he got upset about that and he started to threaten us and said he will ‘kill us’… this is not the first time hearing about the same security guard trying to bribe customers. Please sort it out
