Poor service and not reliable do not use

Appointed Charles Gavin (then trading as British paving and Landscaping) to replace cobblestones at rear of cottage. After digging up existing cobbles he requested £1,700 for materials which I stupidly transferred to his account. He never turned up to complete the job and no materials were supplied. Reported to police who said they couldn’t do anything. I had to pay to have job completed and rubble left on roadway removed. Do not trust this person. He appears polite which gives customers a false sense of security. He regularly changes his trading name which I assume is to cover up previous negative reviews.
