Regularly pop in to the shop. Lovely bunch of people. This was my first visit for a beer tasting….well it was fabulous! Quiet start but after god knows how many different beers tasting it was like a gathering of old friends. Put the price up, because you definitely get more than your moneys worth!

I visited here today for the first time. I needed a good whisky for a gift but not being a whisky drinker I had no clue. The man (owner?) in the shop was super helpful and even got the door for me.The shop itself is lovely and the location is great too as its not city center and it has a very convenient layby across the road so its easy to find and park.

Wow. What a selection they have which you cannot find anywhere else. I love this shop. Wether buying in the shop where I am always greeted with a smile and lovely chatter or buying online (which has been a godsend when in quarantine) which is super easy and delivered quickly the service remains top notch.

Good selection of beers you wouldn’t normally see always try and buy something interesting when visiting our daughter in Handbridge must have met Dave friendly chap and knowledgeable about beer mentioned he used to have family in Norfolk worth a visit

Chester Beer and Wine are Amazing! I am a subscriber to their Wine Club and having previously been with both Vigin and Naked wines find the selection, price and quality superior. The staff will go over and above for you either when you visit the store or contact them electronically. They have been able to cater not only to my preferred taste but also to my allergies and diet. I can't recommend them enough. 5*

Fantastic selection of beers for me, and wines for the other half. The owners are thoroughly lovely and super helpful.Even the dog enjoys going in thanks to the selection of treats stashed behind the counter.Can't recommend this place enough.

An amazing find and a great place to spend time. The whole team really know their subject and Sam (wine) and Dave (beer) are both nothing short of experts in the field. Sam's no nonsense approach to wine is really educational and after years of pretentious wine tastings and events her approach is very refreshing. The new bar upstairs is great fun and a really lovely place to meet friends old and new.

Great selection of beers - nice balance of old favourites (especially with the Belgian beers) and a steady rotation of new ones to try, with an emphasis on quality rather than following all the fads to which some brewers can fall prey (remember the murky beer" craze?). Free local delivery has been a godsend this year - ordering on the site is very straightforward and delivery is usually by next day at the latest. There's free half hour parking just around the corner if you're visiting (usually plenty of spaces in the week) - which is just about enough time for a decent browse!"

These people really know their stuff! If you want to know anything about wine- they're the ones to ask. They keep a really excellent selection of international wines and their delivery service is fast and efficient!Well done Chester B&W!
