Walworth Road Sexual Health Clinic

Turned away during an EMERGENCY and have now been FAILED by this government-provided system and they are IMPOSSIBLE to contact so believe they will not be held responsible. I will be formally complaining in person as I was MEDICALLY NEGLECTED

I was so nervous about my appointment all morning but as soon as I met the doctor all the anxiety vanished. He was friendly and funny and he explained everything we were going to do and why and he checked in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was ok. Sadly I never remember anyone's name but it was the fella with the colourful shoes :p The receptionists were nice, building was easy to find, etc, can't fault a thing.Hard to believe the other reviews on here are about the same place. I was so happy, everyone who came out while I was waiting seemed very happy. Maybe there have been some big changes in the last couple of years or maybe people only bother to write reviews when they've had a bad time. I think the same people from Walworth also do the clinic on Burrell St and I've only had good experiences there too.

Ladies at receptions were so so incredibly helpful, can’t thank them enough. Appointment was super quick and nurse couldn’t have been lovelier. Thank you!

They won’t test or treat some very basic STIs. Garbage

refused to give me a test even when I had symptoms, they claim they don't conduct this test anymore but it seems they were just trying to find an excuse not to work

Women I encountered were so sweet and knowledgeable! It was a quick appointment and they helped me with my walk-in appointment. Came in at 1 pm, had to come back at 2:30 pm, then scheduled me at 4:50 and saw me within 10 minutes of me getting there!

My doctor here is good but the receptionist I had that day was rude and incompetent. She was chit chatting away on her phone when I was clearly waiting to simply check in. She only put her phone down when a patient jumped the queue and bombarded her with questions. It seems patience and manners doesn't get you anywhere here. Only when I lost my patience and interrupted did I get checked in - something which took her 5 seconds to do. Such a frustrating experience.

Really nice experience at this clinic this week, after being quite nervous to go. I queued up outside just before 8am (5 people in front of me) and got an appointment for 9.50am. Reception staff were lovely. My doctor was kind, patient and informative. Results and antibiotics provided immediately and have received follow-up texts with more info. I'd recommend coming here and am very pleased with the service.

receptionist was lovely. I went in for a coil insertion, having an appointment definitely avoids the wait.The doctor was lovely and made sure I was comfortable throughout!
