Beautiful place. Quiet, calm, normally tidy. The place is especially good for dog owners, having a bin for dog poo.

I liked walking around here very tranquil would have given 5stars but visited at the wrong time of year so flowers not in bloom and some uneducated dog owner hadn't cleaned up after their pet or perhaps it was a stray.Will come back again later in the year to see if the garden looks better in full bloom.However, i think i still prefer sitting on overcliffe drive and enjoying the views across the bay and reading a good book.

Quaint little public garden on the site of Robert Louis Stevenson’s house (the house was destroyed in WWII). There’s a small memorial at the back of the site. Great place to sit and reflect and be inspired - especially if you’re a writer.

A very small but interesting park. It has been created from the ruins of what was once a house. This was occupied for a few years in the 1840's by Robert Louis Stevenson. He wrote a couple of his novels whilst he lived there. Due to ill health he had to move on and eventually settled in Samoa where he died. It's a nice place to visit and you can sit down with in relative peace?

Brilliant garden, the tail made my day. Worth a visit. You have to make the effort to read the memorial. Also a very lovely garden as well already a host for wild flowers to blossom.

Could be s nice little place to sit and read but too popular with dog owners. It is more or less a dog toilet area.

Nice garden with historical links. If you want to continue and walk down Alum Chine you need to take one of the roads to the left or the right.
