My dog was really well looked after by the professional, competent and kind ICU team when she had to spend 5 days as an inpatient with pneumothorax and subcutaneous emphysema after being hit by a car at 40mph in a freak accident. She has since made a full recovery and is back to herself.

It's expensive, but it was an emergency and out of hours. Can't fault the staff, medical and administration, all friendly and helpful to a high standard. If I ever need a neurologist for my dogs again, The Hospital for Small Animals would be my first port of call.

OUTSTANDING. Have needed to use the hospital for a number of years. Worth the three and a half hour drive to get there, for the quality of care and on going support.

While on vacation our dog developed what presented as acute onset vestibular disease. We were seen by a local emergency vet who ran a full blood panel. Upon returning home we followed up with our local vet. Were were told if she could not walk straight by a certain date we would be referred to a neurologist. When we saw the neurologist we experienced a repeat of our previous two vet appointments, but with less information. The resident vet was very long-winded and indirect making them hard to understand. They offered to do a full blood panel, despite the fact our dog had just completed one. They then indicated they had not requested or reviewed any of the specifics of her file. We don't understand why we were instructed not to feed our dog this morning. We don't see the value in having driven almost 2 hrs to this appointment. The student vet and front desk staff were all lovely people.

Just had 1st (routine) appointment with my new puppy. Researched various vet practices before registering here. Not disappointed at all. Entire team lovely. Seen on time. Saw two students and a vet. Faultless. Hopefully won't need any emergency services but if I do I'll be confident of kind and expert attention.

We were regular visitors here with our dog Bailey, who was diagnosed with lymphoma. The care and compassion shown by all staff in the oncology department and the whole hospital was outstanding. You can tell that they genuinely care about the animals they treat. A special thanks to Angus and all the team at oncology for their kindness and patience shown to us and to Bailey, who seemedto be very popular during his visits! Unfortunately his lymphoma was too aggressive and he had to be put to sleep, we miss our big gentle giant but we are grateful for the time we got to spend with him thanks to Angus and his team.
