Gibson & Goold Ayr

Just had a new wood burner installed. G&G did a first class job. Their men were polite and tidy and the standard of workmanship was excellent. Received aftercare call from Mr Goold the following day enquiring if we were satisfied which we were.I highly recommend this Company.

I had a Stovax Riva cassette wood burning stove fitted today. There was a problem with my chimney but with a lot of hard work and perseverance, the problem was solved.The care taken by the fitters was excellent and when the job was completed, you would hardly know work had been done.I was very impressed with the attitude of all involved and would recommend Gibson and Gould without hesitation.

I had my new gas fire fitted over the last couple of days. I am totally delighted with such a professional and safe job and really pleased with my fire. Would totally recommend this company from beginning to end.

installed my air source unit, however when an issue developed , they fobbed me off for a couple of months and blamed valliant for not replying to establish if warranty issue, later discovered they never registered system after installation therefore no record of my heating on valiant system and continued to tell me waiting for valliant to reply , in short I would not recommend this company.

Very helpful staff..and wonderful to find a local supplier of wood burner spares, without having to resort to online, as I would have only bought the wrong size if I had.

Ross just fitted my beautiful new gas stove today . Wasn’t ever going to be the easiest job as had to run an underfloor supply into the sitting room but he did an excellent job & left the room totally immaculate . He also took away my old fire for me which was total godsend . Now I’m sitting in front of my stove toasting away nicely and wondering why I didn’t do it years ago . Thank you to everyone at Gibson & Goold for all your help and fabulous service from start to finish !

I had my new fire place fitted yesterday (Riva 2 600 Gas Fire) and the service and product was just amazing the whole way through. Couldn’t recommend this company enough and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Keith and John for making the whole experience smooth and easy.

My parents bought a fire from G&G in the 60s, so when looking for a wood burner they were my first port of call. Good selection in their showroom and extensive knowledge on tap. I was torn between two stoves and while deliberating was called by G&G with a new fire that had just came on the market and it was cheaper than the other two that I had been looking at. The refundable site survey prior to purchase was also a good USP. Both pieces of work inspired confidence.Installation was a dream, I took time to write to the owner to commend the two installers. They started by taking their shoes off to have a look round. Then shoes back on they started to lay out plastic to protect floors etc. IT was a two day job and they hoovered up after themselves and put everything back the way it was.The fire itself is a Jotul and probably the best investment I have made in the house.I would thoroughly recommend G&G, from start to finish it was a great experience.

It’s a shame that admin (both job booking and accounts) at this company lets it down so badly, because the plumber (Rikki) was excellent.I had an issue where it transpires that the former owner of our house had already paid their £748 bill for getting two radiators working, but accounts was still demanding payment for it.When I tried to ask for my money back I was told today “I don’t like your attitude”.
